Normally I'd give it a 5 Star. Something was off this visit. People seemed stressed.
They forgot the baked beans on one order
The brisket which is always stellar was disappointing. It was a bit dry. We love this place and will return again. Everybody has an off day.

Exceptional Catering & Bar Service – Truly Unforgettable!

March 2026 bride here, and I can confidently say this was the best catering and bartending experience we could have asked for! Bobby and his team are absolutely top-notch—professional, organized, and genuinely passionate about what they do.

From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and completely stress-free, which is something every couple deserves during wedding planning. Bobby made everything easy, and his attention to detail gave us total confidence leading up to the big day.

And the food—absolutely delicious! Every dish was beautifully served and a huge hit with our guests. In fact, my New York family was beyond impressed with Florida catering… something I never thought I’d hear in a million years!

If you’re looking for incredible food, outstanding service, and a team that truly cares about your experience, this is the one. Highly, highly recommend!

Omg best barbecue I have eaten in a while we were traveling from Panama City Florida weren't sure if we were gonna stop or not so glad we chose to go in and eat it was amazing

Locally owned not a chain BBQ place, the service was great and the food was amazing, the ribs were soft and tasty, the smoke is not over powering and it doesn't take away from the meat flawor, the in-house BBQ sauce is like no other, we mixed the mustard and the sweet sause and it was incredible, we will definitely come back here when in Gainsville.

The OG BBQ joint in G'ville! Awesome BBQ and just-as-good breakfast (a pre-tailgate must). I can't count the times I ate here in ~30 years living in G'ville, and I go (at least once) every time I return. Every. Single. Time.

It was our first experience dining here. Their sliced pork was delicious, their onion rings were awesome, their corn nuggets were great, and their mac and cheese was creamy. Everything we ate was perfect. Their personality at the front counter was delightful. The restaurant had plenty of seating and was very clean. We will certainly return soon. Smiles
