Excellent burgers and fries. Beware, you will crave them maybe even develop a slight addiction.

The Oklahoma burger is AMAZING. We got it without cheese. The fries and accompanying sauce were delicious. The cookie hit the spot. We are visiting from Georgia and will be sure to return. The food is worth the wait! Great customer service!

It was a beautiful afternoon in Gainesville when I decided to try this food truck / picnic table spot for the first time! Miguel kindly explained my options and took my order. I provided my cell number so he could text me when it was ready. The estimate was only 15 minutes (there were people in front of me) but the food was ready in ten.

We enjoyed our Oklahoma burgers. Smash cast iron onion style with pickles and sauce and more is a good thing! The fries were fresh and salty but next time, I will order extra crispy. I always like to try the default first before customizing.

Life is good with a tasty burger on a sunny day!

Once a campus food truck on University, DJ's Cast Iron has now moved to a different spot by CYM. My first visit was a mix of highs and lows. I got a double patty burger and it was very fillling for lunch. The burger patties had a great crispiness, and the burger sauce was spot on. The fries were good, though the chili topping was very spice-forward—almost like taco meat—which made it a bit challenging to finish the chili fries. Service was relatively quick, parking was convenient, and prices were good overall. I'd definitely go back to give it another try.

There's good, there's better, and then there's DJ's Cast Iron. My wife and I ordered the double (recommended) with cheese, and we will be back. If Gordon Ramsay visits Gainesville, FL, he should go to DJ's. This burger defines food truck perfection.

Entire team was incredible! We weren’t waiting all of 30 seconds before Nick acknowledged us and let us know he’d be right with us. While ordering he was super helpful with recommendations and was able to give us some great suggestions since it was our first time there. Like their chocolate chunk sea salt cookie that he talked me into getting! Lol 😅

I completely missed the text our food was ready and all the gentleman (Nick, Bobby & Raul) were walking over to us to bring our food (we ordered plenty because it was for 4 people!) like what incredible customer service!! Something we definitely need more of today. Especially from such young gents!

The food was top tier! My son is a picky eater so for him to eat his entire burger and fries it was a true testament to how amazing the food was. The quality was awesome. The presentation was awesome but the flavors were even more amazing. From the flavor filled smash patties to their tasty spicy mayo! And don’t get me started on the fries!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 just all top tier and that cookie! Amazing. Freshly baked and extremely soft crumbling in our hands just wow!! BOMB! And they were so nice to give us one more cookie for our kiddos.

Just top tier service and food for sure! We will absolutely be back!

Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn’t love a burger and fries? And they give you LOTS of fries so one small could honestly feed two kids depending on how much they eat. My kids had fried left over and they had a large to share.

Burger was excellent. Busy night when we went. Prepared in about 20 minutes. Worth the wait. We took it home as all tables were taken. Packaged very well. Service was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. The burgers were so good and the service was top tier. They gave us a lot of fries, even when we ordered a small, and a few minutes later they brought out a little bit more for us because they said that they didn't give us enough before.
