“Please come visit Las Americas Bakery! I absolutely love this place! If you’re looking for authentic Colombian/Venezuelan cuisine this is the place for you! There is a wide variety of different types of food to choose from! (I.e: soups, empanadas—better than Mi Apá!—chorizo (sausage), arepas, sandwiches, and MORE!) there are also bakery items, like Flan, Arroz Con Leche (rice pudding), and so much more. I recommend the Beef Empanadas, Chorizo & Cheese empanadas, and try their Arepas! If you want something sweet they sell “Chocolatina Jets” which are fun-sized chocolate bars or the Cocosette! This is a great place and I’ve always had a great experience here with food and service“

“My first time trying Venezuelan cuisine! Wow! I want more! I had a chicken empanada and fried plantains. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the sauce! OMG! and the plantains were out of this world! If you're in Gainesville, I highly recommend giving this a try! You won't be disappointed!“
