This is a classic in Midtown, but after a couple trips, I can see why I was warned to not go. Fats has a history of dangerous occurrences, including many incidents of drinks getting spiked and sending students to the hospital. The bar is 21+ with a $10 cover, but anyone underage who pays the bouncer $20 can get in. Once you are in, there is no shoulder room since they pack it to the brim. The floor is sticky, so wear shoes you don't care about. That said, it is a good place to have a good time, but for me is more of a one and done.

I've been coming here for 11 years now, back when i graduated in 2012 this place had just opened and I have loved it since then.
You should not let people you know skip the line. Unfair. Come on. Be fair.
Owner doesn’t understand that affect of Covid on small business. It’s a shame. Take your money elsewhere.
This place is a dangerous, hostile environment. On Saturday 12/11/21 the low-life bouncers literally kicked people out by beating them up and sending one guy to the hospital with a broken cheekbone - mind you, it wasn’t even 2am (official closing time) yet and no one was causing any trouble.The owner should be held liable and the bouncers should be criminally charged for what they did to all the patrons that night.
