We came here to have hibachi for a celebration of graduations. Our group includes 3 young kids and 8 adults. We were able to be seated immediately. This restaurant requires you to order first, and you’re assigned a buzzer. You go and pick up your food and bring it to your table. They’re pretty hands off in the restaurant. It’s very much like a Chipotle or Panera Bread, but for Japanese food. They aren’t very flexible with requests and cannot give you a lot of detailed...

Driving from Florida, back home to Michigan. Stopped in to Koto. Located in Gainesville, very cool concept. Great vibe! The food was fresh made to order. Love the flavor, fresh ingredients! My Wife and I both had the Hibachi Lunch specials. I had steak my wife shrimp. Both were great made the drive more tolerable!

We got the steak teriyaki, hibachi chicken, crab rangoons, takoyaki, and spring rolls. I would not recommend the spring rolls as it is completely lacking flavor. However, the crab rangoons and takoyaki were good!

As for the main dishes, I felt that the steak and chicken were a bit chewy, however they did taste good overall and the portion sizes were enough to have leftovers.
