While yes I LOVE everything about this place when you go IN to eat, I ordered takeout today. Placed the order at 11 for 12 pick up online, it was cold as if they made it when I ordered. I also wasn't given any utensils to eat with.

My wife and I feel that this is the most authentic Mexican food in Gainesville. The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious. Also, their prices are very reasonable compared to many other local options whose prices (for similar entrees) are way too expensive. They also offer great lunch specials!

Place was pretty empty, came here for Lunch on a monday afternoon. Were sat down upon entry, the wait staff took a while to come back around to take orders. Forgot to bring things. Food came out and it was cold, the rice tasted reheated. First and probably last time here.
Their chicken fajitas, and chimichangas are really good.

My husband and I came in just before noon and there was plenty of bright colorful seating all around, however we were seated in a dimly lit booth in a corner next to a mop and broom and service station. The water tasted bad like very poor tap water so decided to upgrade to a soft drink but the ice made with the same water tainted that. I ordered enchiladas rancheras. The pork and sauce (little amount) had a good flavor, but the doughy tasting enchiladas were inedible. Very disappointing. Our waiter was the best part of our experience. Very attentive and prompt with service.
