I come to Gainesville once per year for FEST. Since Crane Ramen closed, I have not had as good a lunch experience until Liquid Ginger. I cannot express how absolutely delicious everything was. I ate everything they gave me, no leftovers here, and I am looking forward to eating here again next year!! Beyond delicious, worth every penny!
My order took a long time to prepare, but that lends me to believe the restaurant is actually cooking my food properly- which is fair. I ordered the garlic eggplant and pork steam buns online. After waiting about 30-40 minutes, I paid about $22 dollars for three steamed and a container of only garlic eggplant with no rice. Apparently rice only comes with the dinner portion, and the item I selected was ONLY garlic eggplant. This dish should not stand on its own without rice for...
