Horrible customer service. Me and my partner had visited at 7:00pm hoping to sit and eat but the ALL the seats were already set ontop the tables , not one seat available , even though they didn't close until 10:00pm
Ontop of this, the minute we walked in Arlin, the lady with the blonde hair, didn't greet us, but instead looked at us, rolled her eyes and gave an annoyed look, then signals to her friend Michele to look at me and my partner, Michele comes from around the corner just to look right at us and they both look at each other and laugh together as Arlin puts her head down, with her hands on her head and shook her head as if she was annoyed and tired of seeing customers, very upsetting to feel so unwelcome. Not one person greeted us.
I understand work can get hectic when it's busy and customers come in back to back, but it's unacceptable to blatantly show your frustration to a customer, giving gossip , bullying vibes by calling your friend over just to look at us and laugh together at the fact me and my partner came in or whatever it was they found funny, ontop of not even saying hello. Like, Take a break if ur tired, don't make customers feel hated on and unwelcome.
And then, my order was wrong. I order a custom bowl and only wanted strawberries and mango as toppings. granola was added, I didn't say I wanted granola , I don't like granola. Ontop of that some blueberries from my partners bowl got mixed into mine and I'm allergic to blueberries .
Most likely will not return and don't recommend you do as well. Typical immature college girls work there and don't know a thing about professional customer service.

Usually a fine experience. But we waited for a long time until we asked and realized they didn’t print my friend’s order or something after she had paid. I get it things happen. But then they did not make hers right away as they should’ve since we had been waiting longer than everyone else. They continued serving bowls that werent hers for another 10-15 minutes. Finally she asked for a refund and they offered “we can make it now” why weren’t you already making it ?? Just put her order first and get it done since we were waiting the longest since her order didn’t print bc of their error. We just got a refund and walked out.

This was my first time at Playa Bowls in Gainesville and probably my last. The food itself was good, but the experience was really disappointing.
I went over to say hi to two friends from school who were sitting there, and while we were just talking about a party we’re all going to tonight, a staff member — I think her name was Delainna (blue hair) — came over and told me to leave my them alone. That felt rude and unnecessary since we were just having a normal conversation and not bothering anyone.
Good bowls, but I won’t be coming back after being treated like that.

The front door to this play is disgusting. Take a minute to clean the glass. It makes me wonder if the front doors are that dirty. How about how bad is it in the back of this place where they're making the food just wondering

I had such a great experience at Playa Bowls today thanks to Alexis, I believe she said her name was! She was blonde. She was very friendly and welcoming. I wasn’t sure what to order, but she took the time to walk me through the menu, let me try different bases, and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. I ended up going with the Nutellaloco but swapped the Nutella for almond butter. Even though the place was pretty busy, Alexis kept such a positive attitude and made sure everyone was taken care of. She really went above and beyond, and it made my visit that much better. Definitely recommend stopping by!

I frequent the Lafayette, LA location and have tried a variety of things and have never been disappointed. Juices are so delicious as are the bowls. My favorite treat.
