“The food was delicious, but it took forever to get it. I suppose that's the reason it's good since they had to make it fresh. I was very frustrated with how long it took before I could order, and then it took another 15 minutes to receive my single meal order.“
“I have been to this Popeyes multiple times before but when I learned they were doing the limited-time pickle menu, I knew I had to check it out. Over the course of two visits I tried the Pickle Glaze Sandwich, Pickle Glaze Bone-In Wings, and the Pickle Lemonade. The sauce for the sandwich was the same for the wings and it had a great dill-enriched flavor. It really did taste like pickles. My only complaint is that the six boneless wings were tiny for $6.99. Barely one bite each. The pickle-flavored lemonade, let me tell you, was an experience. I would definitely recommend getting it without ice because (especially in Florida) the ice melts quickly and dilutes the flavor. At first sip you taste the sweet lemonade but after a second the faint dill flavor takes over. It is not overpowering at all, for those that think pickle lemonade would be too strong. It’s a perfect blend of sweet and savory. As for this Popeyes location itself, the service can sometimes be a little slow in the drive-thru and you aren’t always greeted with the nicest of tone from the workers. Overall, Popeye’s pickle menu experiment, at least from my perspective, was a hit and I seriously hope they bring it back.“
