Smoothie King

Whoever owns the Smoothie Kings in Gainesville need to be concerned. I have been a patron for years to the point where I’ve bragged on Smoothie King and even attempted to make weekly runs for my office. Well that stops today as both the 13th location and the location on Archer Road were unable to provide me with any kind of service.

The Archer Road location which I attempted first was temporarily closed and unable to make smoothies with no explanation. Ok, fine, I went out of my way to visit another location, because at this point I had an order of 3-4 smoothies I was trying to fulfill for my office. The 13th location tried not to serve me claiming they were waiting for strawberries to come off the truck and it would take a moment. I decide to wait. At which point the cashier proceeded to tell 4 other customers that she couldn’t make them anything unless it contained there 5-6 particular fruits she had available rather than make the effort to go to the back and see what was available. I don’t have to be a business owner to see how much missed profit these locations are suffering from simply from lack of service.

This will be my last time purchasing a smoothie from any Smoothie King location in Gainesville and urge others if you were considering or visiting and thinking these locations were of any quality, please don’t waste your time. It’s a shame. I wish I could give 0 stars and if it wasn’t for the promise I made to coworkers I wouldn’t have spent any money at these locations today.

Walked into the store to be told they’re not taking orders at this location. They’re open and have been since 7 AM.

I love there service on archer road today I came in and got a angle food smoothie it was so delicious and fresh, the young man who served me had excellent customer service and definitely deserves a raise.

I went in to get a smoothie last week and the smoothie was amazing. The customer service was excellent when I went in for a smoothie so I thought I might write a review. I was served by a man with curly hair and he treated me with a lot of respect so I hope whoever the manager is know you are doing a great job

Showed up 45 minutes before they close and was turned away and told they aren’t taking anymore orders because they already started breaking down for closing. Then when I asked for the number to corporate they said they don’t have one and walked away. Will not be coming back!

The veggies superfood smoothie is my go to in Tampa, decided to try it here while passing through.. never again. 😆 The workers were nice though.

I’ve not had the best experience with this location .. I typically go to the smoothie king near the planet fitness but this location is closer for me so I decided to give this location one more try and I truly regret doing so. It’s like the workers use their own measurements to make the smoothie. As soon as I seen my peanut butter power plus (chocolate) I knew it was going to be terrible. I also asked for extra dates and I don’t think they put any dates at all… every time I come to this location my smoothie is terrible. I’ve never had this experience at any other smoothie king. I will not be returning to this location by any means. I’d rather make the drive to ensure I get the correct smoothie.

If you’re an advent gym goer, and you care about the proportions of your smoothies. Please do not go here.

Absolutely horrible. Haven't been here in years. Walked in a it smelt bad and nobody came out of the back for at least 10 mins. Then I ordered a refresher. That tasted old.

Tasty Smoothies and quick service, it stays busy but they are efficient.

We got here at 6:15p as the store clearly closes at 7p. The doors are still open for customers to go inside and there are two associates present yet the mixed/hispanic girl is telling everyone there are closed while making drink for only one customer that was there. Everyone else being turned away. This is not the first time we have came and they have closed before the closing time. This is ridiculous. If y’all not going to be open til the time at the door why not change the sign hours? Get employees that are willing to work until the actual time they’re supposed to?? I asked if there was a corporate number to call and the girl said no. I asked about manager number she said there isn’t one so I then asked for a manager name in which she said Minaj/Nimaj

Smoothies are good, healthy, organic products and gluten free. Establishment is very clean.
