My favorite bakery, actually. This is an especially good place if you don't like things too sweet. I can't wait to go back.
The only issue is that the windows are tinted and they don't have a lit open sign or outside sign stands that are readable from the road to tell if they are open. Google Maps said that they are temp closed for 1/2-1 year now, but unfortunately, because of the building's style, it is hard to tell if this is true or not. I've been stopping by for half a year to see if they are open again, and it is hard to tell. Surely it can't be true if they are still in business.

The Portuguese egg tarts are amazing here. I also frequently get the red bean buns, cream buns, or savory golden onion roll. So many good options, all really tasty.

Sweetbuns i love you. I don't have any photos to add because whenever i buy something here i eat it before i think to take a picture .Fav sweets are the almond+lotus paste bun and fresh pineapple filled bun... honorable mention is the jiggly almond cakeFav savory things r the pizza and the egg sandwich. That egg sandwich is full of surprises one layer has cheesy corn????? And the outside is crispy and sweet. The plain rousong bun hits the spot too ofc.One could eat a satisfying and relatively nutritious dinner here complete with a dessert for like 10$. It's so convenient ♪( ´▽｀)

My favorite bakery in Gainesville, I come here every week. Even though it’s named Sweet Buns, they have an assortment of savory buns and those are actually my favorite type. Really cute store, friendly staff, and delicious food.
Such an awesome little gem! On the outside it’s really ??? but when you go inside it’s a different little world! It’s so cute. The food looks and tasted yummy! The rolls could use some more filling though! Can wait to try the mousse next time!!
