We were on a long drive—tired, hungry, and just wanting a quick breakfast stop. We decided on Waffle House since it’s usually fast and right off the exit. As soon as we sat down, the waitress looked like she was already in a bad mood. She asked if we needed more time with the menu, and since I had just gotten back from the restroom, we said yes.
Not even a minute later, she came back asking if we were ready. We said no again, and she immediately looked annoyed. She walked off, sat on a stool, and when the cook asked her about us, she responded, “Oh no, they’re not ready yet,” with an attitude.
When we finally called her over to order, she kept the same negative energy—no smile, no courtesy. She didn’t even ask my husband if he wanted the small or big plate; she just assumed and rang him up for the big one, even though he’s not a big breakfast eater. I ordered a simple meal—scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns, and toast.
The issue isn’t the food; it’s the customer service. Her attitude was unwelcoming from start to finish, she rushed us, didn’t communicate properly about the menu options, and overall made the experience uncomfortable

If you say you’re open 24 hrs, there isn’t an asterisk. You are or you aren’t. This location at 1150 was take out only. That’s not open. That’s half open. I love Waffle House. Everything about it. But sorry. This is total garbage.

As a family that loves Waffle House we’re always very disappointed with this archer road location. The employees are always extremely rude and usually not very interested in working with the exception of one older lady that’s always the sweetest when we go in. The last few times we’ve visited this location the employees made rude comments and spoke badly about us while we were still there, one time being because we were laughing and having a good time. This last time we didn’t even stay, we walked in and almost immediately walked out because of the way the lady behind the counter spoke to us. I counted at least three employees just standing there while tables needed cleaning, one of which was just leaning on the counter on her phone. While Waffle House will not lose our business…this specific location has. We opted to go to the Newberry road location where the people are much nicer.

My husband and I were really hungry and we wanted something delicious yet served quickly. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes! The food was so yummy and filling! The staff was also very friendly highly recommend.

THE FOOD IS AMAZING! THE STAFF AMAZING! ITS LIKE COMING HOME TO MOMMA. I GO THERE EVERY TIME I CAN! THEY HAVE A JUKEBOX! THE WAFFLES AND CHEESE GRITS ARE THE BOMB. THE STAFF ARE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE
The best, cleanest, and friendliest waffle House I have ever stepped foot in! We actually came here after walking out of the waffle House a few exits up because of their terrible service. When we stepped foot inside, we were greeted by several staff and told we could sit wherever we'd like. All the tables were very clean, our order was taken promptly, and food came out quick. Our server Ace was so polite and engaging- they all deserve a raise! Thank you for the best waffle House experience in my 37 years :)

I was first greeted by Payton and advised i would order after using the restroom with my two little ones and she gave me a look as if i was lying. As soon as we left the restroom before we could even get to the counter to order she starts asking me how im ordering and saying there are no public restrooms and that i must order in a rude way. I already stated i was ordering but she decided to act as if i was actively trying to skirt the rules. And when i called her out on her customer service and asked to order from someone else she doubled down on being rude. I asked for her name and she actively ignored me then said she would not give it. All to avoid admitting that she doesnt know how to treat people. She also stated she didnt care about a negative review so maybe she feels above it all but she needs a refresher on proper customer service. Thankfully Ms. Beverly was helpful and kind.

I tried grits for the first time, and it was great! It's cool that u can use or sugar to get 2 different flavors off of 1 food item like that. It's gr8 with butter too.
I really wanted to take a second and thank everyone there especially Kenna, she was the person helping me out this morning and she did an amazing job, from smiles to service and honest advice; I enjoyed every second of my stay there. She helped me pick the right things to make my Saturday morning just right 👍
