“Gorgeous and relaxing. Life is easy at the Grant house. Fully furnished, clean, and perfectly set of so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We vacationed here for a week, and felt like we had arrived to a luxury abode. Between the deck, patio, pool, dock, and fire pit, we were never bored. “Your traditions dive bar, but it was laid back in the afternoon. Just had to go once because of the name. It wasn’t such a bad place considering. 😂 The service was spot on and they give you a ticket with your drink, at least that day, and you can win a free drink, I believe each hour? Didn’t try the food, although I heard it’s pretty good for bar food and who doesn’t love bar food. They have 2 pool tables and the restroom was pretty clean. 👍Met a nice girl there I could talk to and seemed nice. Wasn’t there to pick anyone up. Just check the “Wet Spot” out. “My friends and I just discovered this nice little bar a couple of weeks ago when we were in the vicinity on a Saturday night. Lucky for us that was Karaoke night and had a blast. We came back again this weekend. People are kind and call you by your name, drinks and Beca (our bartender for the night) were great too. We will definitely be back again next week.“

“Bayside Lounge is the spot if you like your drinks strong, your bartenders hilarious, and your night a little unpredictable in the best way. Shawna behind the bar is an absolute legend, part mixologist, part stand-up comic. She’ll have your drink in your hand before you even finish your sentence, and somehow makes everyone feel like a regular.

“Rosie's Bottoms Up 8400 US Highway 1 Micco, FL 32976 4 Stars As a true bezonian, I always enter an establishment with high hopes. As I walked in, I immediately smelled that old building scent. I mean, this is a good way; it's comforting, like the smell of an old book. While I found the scent reassuring, I doubted the outcome with Rosie's. Rosie is no longer with us and her picture adorns the wall. Marlene, my server, has been here for 19 years, which I found shocking as she is happy, efficient, and works her tuchus off. This garnered Marlene a 62% tip. Well done, Marlene. Marlene has become an icon in these parts, you can even buy a t-shirt with her likeness while dining. I asked Marlene the Magnificent for one Micco Burger (medium rare) and 10 Garlic Parmesan wings. Digging the relaxing vibe of the old place (people were actually having fun in here), I eagerly awaited Marlene's return. It wasn't a long wait as she was soon sighted bringing my order out of the kitchen. Take a look at those pictures. That is a massive burger. The Micco Burger is made from 8 oz of ground beef, hand-formed, with melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. A half pound makes for one giant hamburger. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the cheese was melted all around and the bun was fresh and tasty. The side of pomme frites was likewise perfectly cooked and just as scrumptious. Moving on to the order of Garlic Parmesan wings. One bite in, I knew these were not the best wings I'd ever had, but they were pretty good. They were cooked correctly and abundantly seasoned. Are they going to win any awards? No. Are they trying to? Also, no. They are fine for what they are. The Big Boy says, “Great vibe, smells, and service. Stop on by and tell Marlene the Big Boy sent ya. Hopefully, she won't yell at you!"“

“Im a restaurant manager and I just wanted to give a big shout out to Kat the bartender here at siggys bar. We came in from 11pm-1am and it was close to closing time. She was very prompt and polite. If I could hire her I would. She cleaned everything. Bar stools, tables, ledges. Wiped down refrigerators and other equipment along with detailing all their bathrooms. She is very detailed in her cleanliness and awesome service along with it. If tipped employees could get raises She deff deserves one! “We arrived with a reservation on a Saturday night, was able to get outdoor seating for a party of 6 with no wait. We had 3 apps 6 entrees and was given a dessert for our anniversary. Our server Jenny was attentive without hovering, kept the drinks refilled and went up and down those steps repeatedly with a smile. When it comes to the food it was good, however I felt that not having the ability to pick your sides was a drawback. Each entree comes with what it comes with and there is no way to change it up except to pay $6.95 for a single plate trip to a small salad bar. There was complimentary valet parking and the service was very good.“

“I almost didn't come here because of several reviews describing poor treatment of patrons. I decided to try anyways because some bands were playing that I really wanted to see and a local friend said they liked this place. I'm glad I did, had the total opposite experience to what the negative reviews described.

- Security personnel were very kind/friendly, respectful, and non-invasive.
- Bartenders were also super helpful, attentive, and offered quick service despite many customers.
- Many good draft and packaged beer options. Mixed drinks were made well and according to my special requests, all for reasonable prices.
- Very fun and intimate venue to see live music. Crowd was lovely and respectful of each other.

One staff told me that live shows there are good, but the crowd changes as it gets later on weekends. I left around 11 after the bands finished and could see what they meant, but still nothing but good energy from staff and other patrons while I was there. I got there at 6pm and even as it got later, everyone was chill. I feel the need to write such a detailed review to hopefully ease suspicions of others like me who may consider skipping a visit here to avoid the horrors described in other reviews. I look forward to coming back for other live shows in the future even though it's a bit far from home.

Additional notes as general FYI and to address concerns from other reviews:
- the place doesn't permit knives or guns. Keep them in the car. They do check IDs, so bring it. They ask to look in bags but aren't intrusive about it. If you follow the posted security rules you should be good there.
- I had no concerns about drinks being drugged. I watched the staff pour/make my drinks and I kept a close eye if I needed to set my drink down anywhere for a moment as I would in any bar. As with all bars, just be mindful and hold on to your stuff. Don't leave things unattended. Just a general rule to avoid issues, again I had 0 worries about this place in particular.
- kept my tab open the whole time I was there. No overcharges. Check your receipt when you close out to flag any issues before you go. Again, just general advisory; the staff here were great and wouldn't suspect any foulplay.
-Just be kind/respectful to staff and other patrons and you should receive the same treatment in return. Anywhere and everywhere you go.

Bottom line: Despite other reviews that made the place sound shady, I had a great time here. It was very warm and welcoming with plenty of space to spread out and take a breather. Will definitely be back.“

“We read some negative reviews about this location but decided to give it a try anyway. We had amazing service and amazing food. We are not heavy drinkers so we asked for our drinks to be a little on the mild side and they were absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Beachside dining!“

“As someone from out of state, I have visited Captain Hiram’s sandbar for most of my life (which is an amazing place), but had never ate at Blackfins. We had a group of 8 and everyone’s meal was fantastic. I can’t believe we haven’t ate here sooner and this will now be a staple on our vacation every year. Not one person complained. From the scallops, to the shrimp po boy, to the Reuben, to the blackened fish BLT, everything was delicious. I can’t stop thinking of their fries. Their fries were probably the best I have ever had. The seasoning was great. My shrimp po boy had a lot of shrimp on it, and everyone left full. We had a gorgeous view right from our table. Even though it rained and the windows were open, no one near the window got wet. Highly impressed with Blackfins!!!“
