Ordered the brisket cheese stake pizza it was delicious, while ordering it Tommy recommended adding pepperoni. I’ll take recommendations from him when I go back. They made it super friendly and inviting.“

“We have a wild two year old who makes eating out difficult. We heard this restaurant was kid friendly with a water area for littles to play so we decided to check it out while we were out in the area. We had a great experience! My son could have played there in the water all day if we let him. We sat outdoors in a shady area and watched him play as we ate our lunch. Win win! I got the chicken Philly (minus the mushrooms and marinara) and it was great! My husband got the buffalo chicken wrap and also enjoyed his. Both were much bigger than we had expected! We probably didn’t need to order sides (fries and onion rings) or could have shared one side between the two of us but that’s okay! We know for next time! My two littles got the kids chicken tenders and grilled cheese. I’m a big sweet tea girl but kind of picky. The tea was good! 🙌 Our server was also great and very friendly!“

I give the staff so much credit for being so kind, accepting, funny, caring, sweet, and so attentive! I love all the different events that they have during the week! “All 5 star reviews...really? Wow... The gal out front that greeted us was all that and more. Had a delivery and a cute presence. Made me want to venture inside and see what the place was about...after entering I immediately liked the place but hold on...The bar tender we had did not even aknowledge us for 5 minutes after we bellied up... And as far as bars go thats waaay too long... When she did come over she was matter of fact and business like. About as warm as a bank teller. I understand you work for a check but tips require a little extra effort. Maybe we were early in the evening but we were customers...Loved the drinks, liked the vibe but the gal behind the bar needs to rethink her style. A smile, a bit of friendly chit chat, am I asking too much? Can't even remember her name, not even sure she introduced herself. Oh well felt the need to share...cheers!“

“My friends and I just discovered this nice little bar a couple of weeks ago when we were in the vicinity on a Saturday night. Lucky for us that was Karaoke night and had a blast. We came back again this weekend. People are kind and call you by your name, drinks and Beca (our bartender for the night) were great too. We will definitely be back again next week.“

“This is one of the friendliest, welcoming bars/sports bars on the beachside. They have a great menu (great quality food).
People never have to order doubles and drink/beer prices are very reasonable. The owner (Kelly) and staff are friendly and fun to be around. This is a “5 Star” “hole-in-the-wall” where can eat, drink and always feel safe & welcomed.“

“Your traditions dive bar, but it was laid back in the afternoon. Just had to go once because of the name. It wasn’t such a bad place considering. 😂 The service was spot on and they give you a ticket with your drink, at least that day, and you can win a free drink, I believe each hour? Didn’t try the food, although I heard it’s pretty good for bar food and who doesn’t love bar food. They have 2 pool tables and the restroom was pretty clean. 👍Met a nice girl there I could talk to and seemed nice. Wasn’t there to pick anyone up. Just check the “Wet Spot” out. Especially after reading some of the reviews. 1 1/2 thumbs up!!“

“For my 21rst my boyfriend and I had gone and sat at the bar, the vibe of the place was amazing, good music and fun people! Atmosphere is good energy and nothing less. Our bartender (Trudy) was phenomenal, her energy definitely had a huge positive impact for everyone at the bar, even those not in our party were awesome and friendly towards us. I would 100% recommend for people looking for some good drinks and an even better time!“

“This is a long established, unassuming, easy to miss place in central Melbourne. Like me, you probably drove past it on your way to places like Walmart on Sarno or the DMV, etc. The outside of the place is fairly non-descript - actually The whole Plaza is with its biggest claim to fame is McDonald's and the new dollar tree.

Inside though - what a surprise. This place is open and airy and fresh and clean and it was just a lot of fun. I mean the people that were regulars there you could tell they welcomed us. They made us feel very comfortable. Definitely a place. Oh, and it's a full liquor bar by the way, but definitely a place that we will go back to and that we recommend five stars. Yay!“

“I visited The Iron Oak Post last October during a karaoke night. As someone from Germany, I’m honestly not used to that much energy in a pub or bar. But in the best possible way, this experience completely won me over. The atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and full of life. What felt unfamiliar at first quickly turned into an unforgettable evening.

The drinks deserve a special mention, especially the beers. They taste great and offer an impressive variety of flavors. Of course, they’re different from what I know back home. But that’s exactly what made it exciting. Discovering so many unique styles and tastes was part of the fun and added to the overall experience.

I will definitely return this year. A fantastic bar with an incredible vibe and a truly memorable atmosphere.“

“This place has a sweet setting right on the beach. Parking is a challenge and is now done with a valet in a very small lot. We have had mixed results dining at BB’s. Some food has been well-prepared, and some has been undercooked and underseasoned. Some drinks have been good and others could have been better. Someone never checking on us after the food arrived makes it tough to point out the short-comings. This is what occurred during our most recent visit. My feeling is that for the prices they are charging, these things should not occur.“

I’ve been looking to stop in since they opened but never had a chance until tonight with a friend in from out of state. The barista/server working was so patient and kind explaining their variety of drinks to us. They have some very unique and interesting options that I’d love to try in the future! I had a London fog tonight and it was incredible. The live music was just the right vibe and not overwhelming at all. The entire store has such an interesting vibe and I just love all the cool art and knickknacks spread throughout. The environment was relaxing and friendly, super perfect for catching up. Definitely stop in here if you’re in downtown!“
