“The Truth 🤤I will Definitely be back for lunch“

“The food here is extremely good, always comes hot and fresh, a lot of food and very filling. I’ve always order the girot with mushroom rice it comes with fried tostones (plaintains) and pikliz with a sauce to pour over your food. The service is good once you talk with them and they open up, the price is fair, because you get enough food to fill you up and can eat off it a few times before it’s gone. The atmosphere is normal and not a long wait. I’ve tried different Haitian restaurants and this one is my favorite thus far. I’ll be more than happy to give them my money for food. Next time I really might try the fried fish and turkey heard that’s good too. Try it you won’t be disappointed and might get addicted like myself to the point I need to learn how to make Haitian food.

Parking: The parking is open as it’s inside a plaza with different variety of food like Dunkin’ Donuts and Papa John’s“

“The legume is amazing but the portion was very small. The rice melts in your mouth like butter, the flavor is indescribably yummy. I drove from Fort Lauderdale to go get this food. They used to be in Fort Lauderdale but they closed that location.“

“I had such a wonderful experience at BonGou Haitian Restaurant in Lake Worth Beach! I’m visiting from New York, and from the moment I walked in, I felt so proud to be Haitian.
I was greeted by the sweetest woman, Velitte, whose warm and welcoming energy truly made my day. The customer service was outstanding, attentive, kind, and genuine.
The restaurant was very clean as well. The drinks are fresh and flavorful too😊.

Everything about my visit was worth every penny. If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food with amazing hospitality, this is definitely the place to go. I will absolutely be back whenever I’m in Florida!“

“With business being a high demand, we are always on the go from the time that the sun comes up. Even long after the sun goes down we can always count on Mannies Caribbean corners to serve our staff with delicious dishes at affordable price. We know the market have change Over the years and prices of food have gone up but with their prices you’re able to feed a army and still not feel the hurt in your pocket we love the customer service that we receive from the owners and staff members is always a pleasure doing business with a mother business that takes pride in their customer service let alone the food or products they serve. I can always make that last minute call and still be served even at the doors are close and that is a very great thing and plus for me cause we get lost in our days we sometimes forget to eat, but Mannies always come through, and that’s a very great deed.“

“What a local gem! We met a friend in Boynton Beach and wanted to introduce him to Haitian food, which, unlike him, we've had a few times down here in Miami. This place actually served up better food than what we've had in Miami, especially the griot and the tostones. Despite these being staples of Haitian cuisine, it's very common that they are dry, but that was NOT the case here, and we got some of the juiciest griot I've ever had alongside possibly the best tostones of my life. The oxtail, however, was actually my favorite dish, and the delicately stewed meat fell right off the bone.
As a testament to how good and authentic the food is, we were the only non-Haitians there, and we got the royal treatment (possibly because they were so surprised to see two large white guys and a small Asian, haha). In fact, the incredibly friendly cook came out and talked to us for 5-10 minutes to ask us how we enjoyed our meal, which I sincerely appreciated and wish more places did these days. The only bad thing about this place is that it's an hour away from my house!“

“I am always skeptical. Like all first-generation kids, our moms make the best authentic foods. When I took the first spoonful of rice, I was shocked. Haiti makes DELICIOUS rice, but a lot of times when we sell food outside of the community, we lower the bar because how would they know (😅)? But not at Mama’s. THIS place is authentically delicious!! Truly the one of the best plates of Turkey frit avèk diri nwa I’ve ever had outside of the homes of my Haitian community. “I placed an order for a small griot, Which was the lunch special. I have eaten here a few times but today not so good. The griot Was cooked fresh as always but today I receive more fat than meat. So I called to let the young lady know and she gave me attitude about me looking at it before leaving as if I was gonna go through the whole plate to look to see if I had fat on my meat. She wants to go back-and-forth so I let her know it’s nothing that you did wrong. I’m just letting you know what I received with my purchase of the meal..The tone that she gave me on the phone was not professional, As she stated, do not lie to me as if I need a reason to when I come and spend my money there every other day for lunch so I would not bring my business back here.“

“The food reviews before stated the food was good I was in the area headed to worth stopped by and the review were correct. The Groit complet was the rice mix of fatty and solid meat. The pikliz was perfect the rice had flavor. I will definitely be back for more!!!“

“Food is great but employees were so disorganized. Walked in with many customers complaining to staff. A lot of people were waiting on their food. Parking can be hard, had to park in a different lot then walk back to the restaurant. But food still great, service not so much.“
