“I'm a St. Pete Beach local and I still rank O'Maddy's #1 for the grouper sandwich or grouper dinner. I tend to order it 90% of the time because it's so good, but whenever I try anything else, it has been outstanding. Now add in that super cool people work there, and it's a great atmosphere, it's a must-go at least once or twice a month. Anytime people visit me form out of state, I take them here.“

“Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“Loving our stay here in a spacious suite. I have slept better here than I have in years! We had dinner out in the courtyard. The redfish was locally sourced and delicious. The soft shell crab was very good according to my friend. It’s a quirky place to stay, but very well run. Love the breakfast delivered in the morning.“

“Had lunch there today. Food was excellent and more than I could eat. Service was fast and friendly. They had a turkey, dressing. mashed potatoes, and corn lunch plate that also came with soup or salad for $10.95. Literally enough food for two meals. I brought half of it home for later. Will definitely be back, I wanna try their meatloaf next.“

“Pirates Pub is one of those places we come to every so often—and then we remember how good it is, which is exactly why we keep coming back. Cold beers, a great location, and a laid-back local vibe that never disappoints.
The food is consistently solid. The Pirate vs Burger was a standout—juicy, flavorful, and the fresh jalapeños gave it the perfect kick. We also had the clams in white wine sauce, and they were excellent: tender clams with a bright, savory sauce that was perfect for dipping. The fish dip is fresh and always a great start, too.
Service was great as well—Holly the bartender was kind, attentive, and made the experience even better. Reliable spot, great food, and a place we’ll keep coming back to.“

“Honestly not what I was expecting, but loved it nonetheless. We were waiting for a show to start and were looking for places to grab a bite a drinks prior. Looked on the map and found this little hidden gem. You walk in and order at the counter, grab a drink and pay. Definitely a locals place but I loved every minute of it. Live music was a plus. “I love going ther. I want their last Saturday and I watched people who had their dogs bothering people. When was a big Great Dane like and it tried to eat the food off a guy's plate he was getting disgusted. The other dog was smaller but still a pain in the ass . People need to keep their dogs at home.“

The rooms were comfortable and the hotel amenities made the trip a breeze! With a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop on site we didn’t have to go far to have a great time! “OMG!! You have to go to this tiny jewel of a restaurant. We brought in our fresh catch of Spanish Mackerel from our charter. (Must make arrangements ahead of time) Chef Chris surprised us with an unbelievable work of visual art food presentation and extraordinary flavor fusion!! The owner, Jim, is most accommodating. You also have meet Zoey, who’s outstanding wait skills and personality will have you smiling throughout the entire experience.“

“Was a 5 star now a 3. I've been coming here every Tuesday for 2 years and it's been an excellent experience. Since the change in servers/ personnel ,the service and experience has declined greatly. Our table waited 15 minutes for a server at 3:00. Katie (bartender) and Avery (server) are excellent and should work the bar area.“

“Yes, we eat here often but I was disappointed by the dessert candy being so chopped up in my custard tonight that I cannot see it, bite a chunk of it or really taste it. It certainly was not scrumptious looking like the photo. Bummer. We will be back, no worries. But please don’t make dust of the toppings.“
