“Great atmosphere friendly staff. We had to wait about 40 min to get in as they were pretty busy when we got there. If it’s a super sunny day I would recommend eating inside we are outside and it was super hot and sunny the umbrellas they have don’t cover much. The food was super good! I got the waffle burger and I was really good! It would be worth trying the combination of sweet and salty was perfect. It was served with breakfast potatoes those were not very good as they were soggy I only ate a couple because I couldn’t handle the texture of the soggy potatoes. I ate some of the fries my husband got with his meal and they were really good! If you’re in the area give this place a try they’ve got a good menu with lots of choices.

Parking: We had a tough time finding parking. You had to get lucky to find street parking. There was a garage not too far away that had reasonable parking.“

I'm not a fan of pepper and when I called to ask if I received the correct order was informed that this location adds pepper and you have to request no pepper. Wasted money on them today. It should be on the menu that they do this to all of the wings. Disappointed 😞“

“I traveled to Italy this summer, and I have to say, the pizza I had tonight at Colony Grill was better than any I had during my trip! I’d never had Connecticut style pizza before, but it is my new favorite—every bite has sauce, cheese, or toppings on it, so there’s no risk of leaving a pile of uneaten crust on your plate. I’m so surprised to see other reviews commenting on lack of flavor, because that is what so positively stood out to me. I think it might’ve been the hot oil that created such a tangy, crave-able taste, so I’d recommend ordering that as a topping. It’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been in, the booths are comfortable, the service is attentive, the beers are well-poured, and the pizza is (in my opinion) better than Italy. Colony Grill is a welcome break from the ultra “trendy” and Instagram-forward restaurants that cost $$$ for a decent dinner downtown. I wish I’d given this place a try sooner!“

“Buona ristorante (aka Buona pizza) advertises themselves as a classy Italian restaurant. This place is nothing more than a pizza joint. Extremely small inside with paper table cloths that they tear off from a big roll on the back wall. Ordered garlic bread and calamari for appetizer. Garlic bread was OK, calamari was so tough you could not even chew it. My mom's OSSO BUCO ALLA MILANESE (pork shank) was seasoned good, but I could tell it was cooked earlier and then heated up. The outside of the pork was warm, but the middle was stone cold. My wife and I got a Hawaiian pizza. It is thin crust and extremely soggy. Could not even pick up the pizza slice it was so soft. Had a horrible, weird tast me to it, almost like a sour tomato sauce. Barely even ate one slice and left the rest of it there. Went there for birthday dinner, and it was ruined. I guess our first red flag should have been that on a Saturday evening, it was not even busy.“

Our waitress was excellent and let us know from the beginning that she was backed up but would be back to us as soon as she could check on the other tables. She was actually the only server on duty!! The food was also excellent and well worth the wait and the price was very reasonable. We also sat where we could watch the kitchen staff working their butts off handling table orders as well as a stream of take out orders. All 5 of us agreed our experience was worth every minute. While we were there I didn't hear any complaints at all, which is highly unusual when you have any kind of wait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We even tipped the kitchen staff for their hard work.“

And Coastal Pizza Kitchen just steps from our hotel and the beach, so we thought let’s give them a whirl! “The manager Michelle is absolutely amazing, she is there ever day almost all day, whom ever the owner is I hope they pays her well and takes good care of her. She deals with some wild customers but she always is so kind, my food is always hot and good. Michelle is the best, the other girl named Meika is amazing customer service , so sweet and kind and always ready to help. She's always helpful to the manager and smiles when you come in. “The pizzas are great we ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and it was fantastic. But the pasta entrees are my family’s favorite. The pasta puttanesca is truly amazing. We have been here a few times and we order it with shrimp or blackened chicken. The portions are American Italian so you will have some to take home. The house salad is also excellent. The Italian Margarita is a refreshing drink after a few hours in the burning sun.“
