Cozy cafe with German/Italian ambience. Welcoming and attentive staff. Starters and entrees delicious, but not too heavy. Chocolate creme dessert delectable. Wish they had pizza!

I go to Il Mercato every time I’m in Hallandale (a few times a year). They never fail to deliver. Delicious Italian home cooked food. A very cozy interior or a small exterior courtyard dining. The wait staff have been with them since years and they are efficient, friendly and attentive.The food is always on the mark, delicious tomato sauce to accompany the dishes, fresh pasta for some of the plates.Be sure to ask about the daily menu. The three brothers in the kitchen work together with timing and they love cooking. The owners are a wonderful couple who obviously love the business.Thanks Mercato and see you next time.

Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat dairy and once upon a mushroom ravioli, I ordered them without asking and with my first bite realized they had cheese mixed in with the mushrooms, they changed my dinner within minutes.Like any good restaurant they accommodate restrictions.

I have seen this restaurant so many times, which is hidden between Petsmart and Publix, and only recently I managed to have dinner here. And this is an insanely delicious meal prepared by a wonderful woman chef. Also, book a table in advance, as it will be difficult to find a table after 5 p.m.I don't have a photo, because I was enjoying the food and the atmosphere and just forgot to take a picture ?

You need to work on your reservation system or this restaurant will FAIL. We have made reservations twoWeeks in a row and when we get to the restaurant we have to wait 45 min to be seated. For this I will not come again.

Mediocre Italian Food, we spent nearly $300 , ordered appetizers, and entrees the bottle of wine was good. The food was mediocre. Overpriced for what it was really. Definitely would never go back. It was my first and last time for sure.

He went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable meal. Danik was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also offered fantastic recommendations, which enhanced our dining experience.Now, let's talk about the food – it's nothing short of spectacular. Every dish I tried was bursting with authentic Italian flavors. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the pizzas were heavenly, and the tiramisu was the best I've ever had.I can't forget to mention the wonderful live music that added to the overall ambiance.I highly recommend IL Mercato Cafe & Wine Bar to anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere, and make sure to ask for Danik for a truly exceptional dining experience.
