Unfortunately, this establishment has closed. Stopped by on Friday, January 22, 2021, as they were clearing the space

So sad to there today and see they are closed for business. Sign said because of COVID and damages... looks like something happened, It really is sad as they really deserve to make it. I hope they come back/reopen...

They offer a vast range of fresh food. I love dining here. Staff members are always very nice, pricing is fair and the place is always neat.

For a first time it was definitely not what I was expecting. I read many of the reviews before making the trip and many were right when it came to this place. Ribs- Ordered a full rack of spare ribs...probably would have done the half had I known the taste was going to be the way it was. While I love the smoke taste, like many others said, it was overly done. Not only that but the ribs were very dry with very little flavor in them besides the wood taste. I tasted more dry rub seasoning than I did rib which turned me off. The only way I made It through was by dipping it through the sauces. 1 positive thing ill say is they're definitely not stingy with sauces as my bag was loaded up with plenty. Personally, I would have preferred they cooked them in a sauce and that I would have to spend less time dipping the bones to compensate for the lack of taste in the ribs. Mac & cheese- while I prefer baked, I knew what others had said about the creaminess but that it was still good. After trying, I wasn't impressed. It basically tasted like craft and nothing special at all. Cornbread & Fries- they do however have great cornbread. Moist and good texture overall. Fries were good & hot as well. Overall the food was just meh. For it to be a 1st time and giving it a shot because being from NC I was missing my bbq, I'd pass on coming back at least for the ribs. Just my take on it!

I got take out from here and it was the best decision I made all day. I got the 2 meat combo: brisket and baby back ribs. The brisket was moist and the baby back ribs were so tender. For sides, I got baked beans and potato salad. The baked beans were heavenly. The baked beans were different from any baked beans I've had before. There were chunks of tomatoes and pieces of meat in the beans. The girl at the register was super sweet as well. Great food and service. You're going to love this place!

Went there on a Saturday, unfortunately we couldn't eat in but we took it to go. Everything was good! We had collard greens: delicious, baked beans: tasty, coleslaw was a bit milky but pretty good. Now the meats... the pulled pork was very good. The chicken was good and the ribs were good as well. All made better by BBQ sauce we had at home. I found that their BBQ sauces were not that great. But if you could use your own sauce... it makes the meal way better. I'm talking from a 5 to an 8/9. The piece was fair and the portions were big. I'd definitely go again.

Their smoked meat is fantastic! My fave is the spare ribs followed by the brisket. But I've also tried the pulled pork and chicken. Both were very good.

Best BBQ in town, got to go with the mac and cheese (even knowing mac and cheese preferences vary widely)

The food was amazing the macaroni was on point and collard greens was even better. The spare ribs was smoked to perfection, but I just wish they would have put some salt and pepper on the meat.

I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs, a half chicken, the pints of baked beans, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. Not impressed by any of it. The "barbecue sauce" is just ketchup with some other spice added. The "pint" sizes of the Mac and cheese and the collard greens are not full. All of the sides taste like they are from a can. I won't go back. Not even sure if the meat was actually smoked there. Everything tasted bland and pre packaged.Too bad, not too many authentic barbecue restaurants near west park.

The food was ok, the cornbread was a big disappointment. It was very coarse almost like sandpaper and about the same taste. The brisket was moist and tender and tasty. The ribs I will give 6/10.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed based on these reviews. I purchased the half rack of baby back ribs with macaroni and cheese with coleslaw. The Good: mac n cheese has great flavor and consistency. Very much liked this. Coleslaw is perfect. Good crunch and sweet but tangyThe Texas sauce was good- pretty spicy but tasty The sweet bbq sauce was very good. The Bad: ok. These ribs were like, not good. They were dry and tough and tasted waaaaayyy too much like wood. Like I get the whole Smokey flavor idea. But this was so exaggerated. It almost tasted artificial. The toughness and the dryness was the worst part though. It made them pretty inedible time me. The corn muffin was mediocre at best. It was spongy and kinda fluffy which I assumed meant it would be moist. But alas, it was dry also. The flavor was meh. Nothing special. Jalapeño bits which I hate in corn bread. Sooooo altogether this gets a solid two because the Mac and cheese was good and one of the sauces. I should probably give it a one though.

We ordered Leroys takeout because we were staying at the beach and the Yelp reviews really drew us. The BBQ is some of the best we've had! We ordered the family meal (which claims to feed 4...it definitely feed much more!). Their pulled pork is seriously amazing and definitely don't miss out on the onion strings. The kids in our group (2-4 year olds and a 2 year old) raved about the Mac and cheese. Don't miss out on this amazing barbecue joint minutes from the beach!

Food was dry and bland. We order via Ubereats and then immediately ordered something else. Chicken was dry and had more smoke smell than flavor. I am originally from NC and do not consider this southern or bbq.
