“This place is called Chipotle but it is not part of the franchise. It used to be a great place. The meats specially the chicken is now served burnt black mixed in with freshly grilled chicken. The brown rice does not taste the same & is often mixed with old rice clumps tossed in with the newer cooked rice. The meats look (although I have not tasted them) are as dark & dry & burnt black as the chicken. Before, all the meats could be recognized for what each one was. Now the pork looks the same as beef. This particular store is not well managed. The cooks on the grill must not be cleaning the burned stuff off when they finish cooking a large portion. The fajitas are floating in water. I think they boil them. The peppers are always soggy. If you say something. You get attitude.
Vegetarian options: You may get your veggies not strir fried on the grill you may get wet soggy boiled stuff mixed in with freshly cooked vegs. Worse for vegetarians would be to get your veggies stir fried with left over burned chicken, Pork or beef, residue.
Parking: I have been told the Miami Lakes one is Like the 49 st. Hialeah used to be.“
“Being an affionato of beef brisket I was planning on trying their Smoked Beef Brisket. Nice restaurant in a strip center next to 5 Guys. Plenty of tables. Quick counter service with help on what to order. I went for the Bowl with brisket. I added white rice, black beans, lettuce, mild salsa, shredded cheese & guacamole. In total $16.50. It was a lot to eat! So, with all these elements in the bowl it was a challange to figure out how good is this brisket. It was served in cubes, a bit dry with minimal smokey flavor! Overall with the rice, beans , guacamole, sour cream it was very filling BUT I came for the brisket and was disappointed! Good service, friendly staff!“
“Chipotle in general has the same service and stores are very even in the way they look and feel, but I feel their food for the price is very good, few fast food restaurants can say that.
I have other Chipotles nearby but this is my favorite on, on this area.“
