“Every time I have De Lo Mío, I feel like I am back home in the DR. They are a food truck located in Hialeah. Their service is incredible. They even know me by name when I call to order. They are over 30 minutes away from me, but I never hesitate to go when I'm craving some real Dominican street food. Their Picadera con proteínas is my go-to. They have different options for the protein and the sides for you to choose from. I always do Tostones with pechurinas (fried chicken), longaniza, carne de res, or cerdo frita. My mom loves their orejitas. When I'm craving a chimi, they are my go-to. They also have a special for chimis on Wednesday. I love their empanadas; they have an authentic Dominican flavor. Their empanada de pollo or pizza are my two favorites. Their Yaroas are excellent and very loaded. Their Rebulu fries are the perfect Dominican-style loaded fries. My family also enjoys their kipes. I can go on forever on what to try from them, but all I can say is that if you are looking for good flavor, quality, and feel of Dominican style food De Lo Mio is the place to go.“
“So I only ordered from uber eats because of a promotion ... but I was so blown away. Like blown away. I ordered a rib soup because I've been sick and it was honestly one of the best soups I've ever had. Definitely the best soup from a restaurant and I am not a soup person. I lso ordered mangu con 4 golpes because I can't see it on a menu and not order it. When I say this is the creaminess mangu I've ever had I'm not even joking. Apologies to every dominican family member that's ever cooked for me and to myself. I have never had mangu this creamy. The onions were onioning. Even the salami and salchichon were good no gross hard bits or weird after taste. I got my husband the chicken milanesa with moros. He hates chicken but it was milanesa so I thought I'd give it a try. This man ate the whole thing. I am so impressed and so glad I found it. I just wish I had found it sooner. I can't speak to the actual service or atmosphere since we haven't bene there yet but I can't wait to go now. I will say I ordered it delivered to Aventura and when I got it everything was still warm fresh and delicious.“
“Good food, mixed picadera, rice and beans, churrasco, can't miss. They only have one person taking care of everything and it is a little slow. The music a little too loud. The Sancocho is ok, it never has multiple meats. The beers are not that cold. There is never cake. Right there in front they wash the cars. There is plenty of parking.“
“The food is authentic and delicious. I have only tried the Mangu with the three golpes (salami, sausage, and fried cheese) and the sweet plantains smashed with fried eggs. Although they over salted the mangu this breakfast does not disappoint especially the serving size for the price.“
“This little gem reminded me of my mother, aunts, and grandmother's home cooking. The flavour and the portions are perfect. If you want authentic Dominican home cook cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. It was our first time and it will definitely won't be our last. Darian the server was very welcoming and professional, he helped make the experience even better.“
