“Out-of-towner happy to have landed at Zest for a late, Sunday afternoon lunch on a day trip to tour Bartow's interesting Wonder House, with quick, unplanned visits to the L.B. Brown House Museum and the Bartow History Center. Located on a side street a couple of blocks from the old town square Zest has a quiet, unassuming appearance with off-street parking and an outside, covered dining patio. Inside seating includes booths, tables and the bar in a large, high-ceilinged, sort of dimly lit dining area with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Our server Regan, (I think was her name) was efficient, and attentive and just right friendly. Our food - we both had fish and chips with cole slaw - was excellent - the slaw was good - chunky cut with vinegar-based dressing rather than mayo-based, medium cut fries and the fish were very good - tender and crisp (the fish lightly battered). Definitely would be a repeat customer if I was a local. Planning to return to Bartow for a scheduled tour of the L.B. Brown House and to explore more of the History Center and it will be hard to decide whether to try a different restaurant or to return here where we really enjoyed the service, the meal and the space.“

“Came to visit Florida from West Virginia Applebee’s has been fun but the bartenders Jessica and amber are a fun time and make you feel more relaxed great place will go back for sure and the guy who brought the food out Ed was funny made for a great time and Applebee’s experience“

“My Family and I get take out from this 5 guys regularly and I must admit They never disappoint. It does not matter how busy they are, or how many orders they have coming in they always hit the nail on the head as far as food quality, attention to detail and awesome customer service. Thomas, the manager, leads by example and sets a very high standard, which he holds himself too as well as his employee and it really shows in how this restaurant runs and operates. A member of our family has severe food allergies and the kitchen at this 5 guys always prepares her food just right, which is very rare for us.Happens about 5 out of 10 times when we go out to eat. Thomas I just want to thank you again.I really appreciate your due diligence and your loyal service to 5 guys.And we enjoy it and love having you in our neighborhood.“

“Listen. I am a snobby burger snob. Burgers are pretty much the only reason I could not be full-blown vegetarian. Super Duper Spot has THE best smash burgers in Lakeland. I'd argue theirs are the best in central Florida. So simple. SO perfect. Great prices, but honestly, I'd pay a lot more. That's how great they are.“

“OMG. It was my first time there and everything was amazing. We were in the drive thru and asked for extra time to review the menu and they said sure take your time. Then we asked what their favorite item was and they suggested the mushroom burger with the way they like it. It is really delicious. We also had the spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings and boom boom sauce which was also delicious. We will definitely be returning.“

“Love the food! Hate the fact that it is taken out only. Upgraded a side of fries to beast fries but they did not do that and didn't realize until home with the food, made the additional fee without the additional ingredients. A side order of beast fries is nowhere near as large as when you order them in the actual restaurant. And since you have to take it home to eat it, it gets cold which is a bummer. They did a good job otherwise. If we could eat in, we would get this far more often!“

“This restaurant is great. It is clean inside and outside. The service is excellent. The employees were very courteous and professional. I ordered an Impossible Whopper and a root beer soda to go. I have to make a point of saying that sandwich was made with love. When I unwrapped it my first thought was this sandwich looks like it should be on TV. I don't know if you have ever ordered a sandwich and when you received it, it looked like the sandwich was put together by throwing the contents from across the room. Wherever the items landed on the sandwich, so be it. Not so with my Impossible Whopper. It was structured so well, and stayed that way to the last bite. I was highly impressed. I applaud the workers.“

They were friendly and offered to help at the Kiosk if needed. But I would rather order at the table with a waiter or waitress more personal.... and quiet.“

“I like my Wendy burgers so was happy to see this place just an easy walk from the Hampton Inn. I rate it a solid four. Staff were good. Food was good. For some reason the dining-in area didn't appeal to me, so I just went the "to go" route and ate in my motel room. No complaints on the food though. The burger was made the way that I like it, and the fries were fresh and crispy.“

“Great sweet tea,coffee and steak biscuits,hash rounds.But, they don’t put enough cinnamon on the raisin biscuits like the other Hardee’s do.Its just enough to taste it.It doesn’t even cover the top of the biscuit.Other Hardee’s cover the whole biscuit with the cinnamon.“

“We hit the drive thru because we are getting tired on McDonald's and the line there is always backed up. Really shocked at the great quality of the burgers. I loved the charbroiled taste and is is much more reasonable. The Onion rings have real onions in them and were delicious. The lady told me I just missed their HOMEMADE!@!! biscuits so they will definitely be our next breakfast out. Scrolling through the reviews form 2020, Covid19 must have hit them hard on staffing but we had not a single issue and NO LINE! So we will definitely be back soon!“
