“This was a very unexpected experience! I am returning to SE Georgia after being away for 35 years. I have been vegetarian/vegan for the past 17 years and have had some challenges with finding options in the area. This place was a very surprising experience with MANY vegetarian options on the menu! Also, the green Thai curry with crispy tofu can’t be beat!!!“

Really good to speak to you too and I don’t know if anybody’s mentioned it but they have great beans. 😂 my husband usually gets the ribs and their fries because they’re actually good. I usually get a sandwich of some sort last time. It was a chicken sandwich. I told my husband are you going drink 3/4 of it and leave me a fourth left and he said OK give us two large sweet teas 😂. Don’t be afraid to try some of these these little places. They generally have some of the best food. We used to go by Rosa’s as well afterwards however the building has been vacated. She had the best cheese cheesecake and was right beside Jalens.“

“the food is great. the service is bad. i always leave a ten dollar tip. the staff never ask if I want a drink refill. Yesterday i had a drink and did not get a refill request. however I left a ten dollar tip. today i had one drink and did not leave a tp.“

“We have not been here in a long time. Tried it out today and boy oh boy did that hit the spot. My Husband had loaded baked potato, my daughter had the tilapia street tacos and I had the large taco salad. Delicious all the way around. The steak on my husbands potato was tender and very favorable. My daughter loved her crunchy fish tacos with a mayo sauce. I had my taco salad just ground beef very good shell and fresh veggies and goodness inside. And the topper was their flan, so creamy the best I have ever had in my 50 years. Waitress was so polite and we felt right at home. Oh and the restrooms are clean and handicap ready.
