“Went to Holiday House for breakfast, 5/19/24. My friend was with me. This was her first time visiting Holiday House. The breakfast was AWESOME!! The waitress staff were very friendly and prompt. We both had to get to go boxes. Don’t know why YELP gives Holiday House 4 $$$$!! My huge corned beef omelette w/ home fries was only $10.95!!! Apparently there are a very numerous amount of people totally agree!! If you’re ever in Holiday Florida… they are in a strip center on Hwy 19. You should stop and enjoy a great meal with VERY affordable prices!!!“

“Highly Recommend if you are Blind or Visually Impaired

I went to Rusty Bellies with my sighted friend. When our waiter, Adam, brought my drink, he noticed me searching for the straw and he pointed me right to where it was. I asked him for a few minutes, because I was using my smart glasses to read the menu which he said was completely fine. I ordered the surf and turf, so I asked if I could have my steak cut up into bight sized pieces. He took the time to verify exactly what I wanted and when the food came, he asked me if it was all right, which of course, it was done to perfection. During the meal, another woman came up to fill up our waters, and she told me right where to put my glass so she could reach it. When Adam brought our bill, he read it to me before I even asked him.
In all, the food was amazing, and the service was wonderful. I highly recommend it!“

“We are SOOOOO glad we stopped here for lunch/dinner today. Despite the place being packed, we were sat quickly and our server came to take our drink order promptly. Being our first time, we asked her for some menu suggestions and she could not have given us better recommendations. He had the tropical fish flatbread and I had the island fire shrimp tacos. Both dishes had incredible flavor and the portions were HUGE. The prices were incredibly reasonable, as well.

This is the exact review I left from Google with my response to the owner. Food was excellent Place looks great Price bad Treatment of veterans and service members...bad Guy ringing me up said my sandwiches I was ordering were 15.99 each. Then when he was ringing me up another guy says nope they are 18.99...wow. Also I served 33 years in Army and as I am ordering i remembered last time I was here a guy was getting a discount for being a fireman and the guy ringing him up said he honors all heroes. I asked for the military hero discount and was told only heroes they discount are firemen...bet you if our sheriff Bob showed up or any PCSO showed up you would offer them a discount as well. I am not a hero apparently as I am not a fireman but instead went to 2 deployments to over seas and multiple other deployments to help other countries and deploying units Wow wow ..thx for the good sandwich sorry you do not think the military or veterans are heroes.. ***Response to the owner*** I did let them know I was military and was told they only honored local heroes...so yes I let them know I was military, but if I have to explain I was in the military and did X, Y or Z to prove I am a hero then...wow. In regards to your comments about telling your team about my service to the United States of America: I have a Veteran stamp on my FLDL, I have VA ID as I am disabled from my military service, I have a military ID...is this not enough to prove I have served and done more than 90% have? And yes it stings that your business says that about Veterans and service members as we were the backbone of democracy.“

“This Longhorn is amazing! It is the best steakhouse in Pinellas County. Tammy H. of Store 5212 is friendly, polite, fast, and very knowledgeable of the items on the menu. The food was hot, tasty, and the salads and bread were very fresh. The steaks are cooked to perfection and my favorite thing to add is the sauteed mushrooms! Also, we always have the Southwest Schrimp appetizer because it is irresistable I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to everyone. 6 Stars“

“My all time favorite place for happy hour sushi! You just can’t beat their prices (and quality for the price) at about $5 per roll. Our go to HH order is usually: Tampa, Florida, Philadelphia, Mexican, spicy tuna, and the tempura salmon rolls. For apps the stuffed mushrooms are amazing but this time we tried the tnt mussels and they did not disappoint. I also typically order the lollipop roll but this time my friend ordered the scorpion roll and it was amazing! Definitely better than the volcano fyi. They also have bogo wine and beer during HH, but you have to wait until after 8pm for the sake to be bogo. Service is always pretty decent consisting of mainly a younger waitstaff. The noise level is pretty loud but much to be expected with the dining room being a large open space. For a quieter dinner I would suggest sitting outside, and if it happens to be chili out you can always catch me at the fire pit! Great place.“

“Local Tampa Bay Folks: Tarpon Tavern review: While this is a Tavern with your classic bar, TVs playing with the sports games, and a lively crowd, the food is beyond what you would expect. In fact, as other patrons' plates came out, I was really excited to receive our meal. It was busy and a little bit of a wait to get the food, but it was worth it. As a self-proclaimed pickle enthusiast, we decided to order the fried pickles. I had heard that they were different than most fried pickles, and surely they were for the better! The one thing I hate with most fried pickles is that there is more batter than pickle. The batter was very light, and you could even see the entire pickle through the coating; however, it was still crispy and golden. These guys achieved the perfect balance of crunchy exterior with a juicy, briny interior. From first glance, this is not your ordinary bowl. The bowl is visually appealing: vibrant veggies, grilled chicken, rice, olives, feta, and onions. A creamy tzatziki sauce and naan bread points bring a simple dish together to make a truly great meal. As a vegetarian, finding well-curated food is always hard. In a way, it's annoying. And like many places, they had the classic Beyond Burger. (boring). So, I spiced it up. I ordered their Smash Burger and had them substitute the Beyond Burger patty with their Tavern Twister fries. The burger came with grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato and the ever-famous smash sauce. I had them add grilled mushrooms. From the first bite, the Beyond Burger defied all expectations. The patty had a remarkably meaty texture, was juicy, and was cooked perfectly. The flavor profile really brings the burger to the next level. The flavors and taste with the different toppings surely made the burger the best, especially with the restaurant's signature smash sauce, a harmonious blend of tangy and creamy, which ties the entire creation together. Whether you're a committed vegan, a curious flexitarian, or a die-hard carnivore looking to explore the plant-based realm, the smash burger with a beyond patty is a must-try.
