First of all the price of the buffet is higher than what's advertised on their website and too high for what's offered. When I went at 10:30 the restaurant was full of noisy kids and teenagers with their families, not everyone's vibe for a brunch. I figured parking across the street would be more reasonable than valet, nope. Lastly, while I was at the buffet and returned to my table, it was being cleared for another group of people. I mean COME ON people!!! So I stood there with my plates while they reset MY table. Unbelievable...
Buffet line was not controlled by staff. One patron stood at front of omelette line and allowed one family member after another, at least 6 - 8 to cut in front of rest of line and continued to place orders in front of other guests. $36 for buffet is too expensive for value and quality of meal.
Overall, our business lunch was great. The only thing we noted was there was a concrete jackhammer being used right outside where we were seated which made it difficult to have a conversation.
It took almost 40 minutes for two scrambled eggs, and one over easy plates to be served. The server was very friendly and attentive, but the kitchen was very slow. It was more than $100 for two coffees and three plates of eggs.
Corned beef hash was excellent. Server was very friendly and efficient. Make a reservation, even for breakfast. It saved as a lot of time as there was a long line.
It was delicious! A lot of the usual buffet food's but the taste and quality was amazing. They also had small crème brûlées in espresso cups for dessert that I am now obsessed with.
Best breakfast available at the Diplomat Resort. Did the a la carte menu as we don't eat enough for the buffet. Service was fantastic, food could be better for the price but decent eggs & bacon nonetheless.
Worse Christmas buffet I was ever at in all the buffets I ever attended. They took a 300 reservation and was all out of food I paid 300.00 for bad food that my wife and son was sick 2 days. The GM Robert called me after my complaints and all he did was dance around the subject instead of trying to fix the issues. Now I understand this restaurant going forward as I was a long time member of the Diplomat and will never eat there again. This Robert does not belong being a GM he doesn't know what he's doing and the restaurant reflects his management skills.
We enjoyed every coffee and everything from the bakery we consumed is delicious, plus James's very special attention. Thank you, we will always come back

The team at Counter Point Cafe were a delight to see every morning — namely, Carline, Doroty, Odieu, & Lucy! They are friendly, professional, & crazy quick & efficient. It is clear that Counter Point takes GREAT pride in all they do including how the cafe is presented to the amazing coffee to their food/desserts & overall customer service. We were greeted with smiles & willingness to ensure outstanding satisfaction across the board & they succeed tirelessly! They receive a LARGE volume of visitors & as we sat back & took it all in, our only criticism is to encourage *the guests* to smile a little more & express greater appreciation for this outstanding team & their incredible service.

Excellent choice for a delicious coffee, dessert or 100% natural orange juice, they squeeze it right away, the service is excellent, very friendly staff, especially a girl who served us from Argentina who was very helpful, excellent customer service, located inside from the Hotel “The Dioplomat Beach Resort” I recommend ?

We stayed for 8 days and stopped by this cafe at least once a day during that time. The morning crew: Carline, Doroty, and Odiey, were AMAZING! Their team was always so friendly and made stopping by each morning a joy. You could tell they took pride in the service they provided and made it a point to create a welcoming environment. I honestly really enjoyed this cafe and raved about it to any guests I spoke to during my stay. The service the AM crew provided honestly kept us coming back. Thank you all for your help during our stay!

In short, I didn't like it. It is very expensive for the size and flavor of the food. I don't agree that they want a tip just to get paid. When paying they suggest 18 to 25% tip, fatal.
I ordered an Avocado Toast, the portion was very small, it was a simple bread with a little avocado, spread and radishes. The Chai tea was not bad, my daughter ordered a Muffin and she didn't like it either.

I wish I had taken pics!! We had the pizza, a Cuban sandwich, a Philly cheesesteak and it was all delicious. We got a ton of snacks and a chocolate chip cookie at least once a day which, my god I can’t say enough good things about it! It was fresh; baked on site morning and afternoon, and truly just scrumptious. However, what I loved more than the food, was the service. Everyone was super attentive and friendly. All that said, I really want to give a special shoutout to Lucy! She was lovely, gracious and very kind from the moment we got there till our very last day. 10/10 recommend!

I got the classic breakfast sandwich. They’re premade and the bread was very tough and hard to chew. I also got a vanilla latte and it was so sugary. The prices are also unreasonable expensive for mediocre food at best.
