Diplomat Prime Steak & Seafood

So me and my husband come here every year for his birthday. He loves the diplite hotel and he really loves the restaurant. One thing they changed this year is when you order the aged ribeye they slice it before they bring it to the table which when I received mine it was warm to temperature and it was kind of dry with no juice because when you slice meat it's going to cool off and dry out. So we were really disappointed with that. The meat was tender. The service was excellent but for $95 for a steak and we ordered two like we told the waiter next time. Please you should let people know if you changed your policy and you start slicing their steak for them.

We had a wonderful dinner and saved half of each of our steak for lunch later during our mini vacation. They packed a bag with 2 containers when I looked in and when we pulled it out to our disappointment- they forgot to put the steaks in $185 worth of steaks missing. When I went to the front desk at the Hilton resort they said to speak the manager. It was Monday and they were closed. Back in NY I reached out with pictures of what was given along with our receipt and since we need to buy lunch because they never sent the leftovers I asked for a credit of half the amount of the steaks. I was told NO and they were open on Monday (which if you look at the website they are closed and the front desk told me that as well). General Manager said she would use this as a training opportunity - DO BETTER. We are long term Hilton members and I exclusively use Hilton for my business travel as well. Maybe I need to start looking elsewhere. For the $300 I spent - I would have expected more from the restaurant or at least given the food I paid for. Will be reaching out to Hilton direct and my CC company as well. DO BETTER!!

Great experience. Service was on point( friendly and efficient but not rushed). We ordered the grilled octopus starter which was delicious. Split the prime 45 dry aged porterhouse which was cooked perfectly and already sliced off bone. Mushrooms and lobster tail add-ons were also very good. The lobster wasn't as large as I would've liked for $50 but it was very tender and succulent. For that size, $30 is probably more what it should've cost. They give a couple complimentary chocolate truffles at the end. All told—we will return for a splurge meal.

The hostess was very disrespectful! Not a very good face card for the company. She wouldn’t seat me because I had sandals on, and she let the group in front of us be seated with flip-flops. She must not have seen that through her fake eyelashes!! The Diplomat has lost me as a customer, and I will continue to spread the word about my bad experience at this place!!!

Hostess was extremely rude and unprofessional. We will not be back.

Overprice dry steak, service was nice at the bar, the hostess was too busy to attend to me as she was chatting away with some random person.

We waited about 10 minutes after our reservation time. Then waited another 15 minutes before they gave us menus and acknowledged us to take our drink orders. The food took quite a bit and my pasta came out kinda dry like it had been sitting prepared a while. It was very loud and noisy in there as well. The food was tasty and the servers were nice I just think it was too crowded and they seemed understaffed. My second time here and it was pretty disappointing.

Food was amazing. Service was wonderful. Love the environment. The only regret is that I didn't sit in the dinning room area. Outside is nice but to noisy. Overall it was wonderful.

We didn't feel the food was that good for the price. Great service, but we've enjoyed better food at a third of the cost.

One of the best steak dinners I've ever had. The SMOKE & MARROW: Roasted Bone Marrow, Torched Wagyu Carpaccio, Shaved Truffles Is an absolute must. Steaks are cooked to perfection. Impressive service in a lovely atmosphere. Gorgeous hotel.

The experience of was AMAZING!!!! It was my birthday and the staff “rolled out the red carpet” - the server, Sebastian was top notch!!! Phenomenal birthday for me!!!

Ordered just plain water charged $9 staff was never around table was completely full of bread plates and everything never taken away For the money??

Food was delicious; nice presentation. Service was attentive. It would be nice to see more seafood entrée options on the menu.

Excellent food. Ivan our server was great. We were there the night before and had 2 bottles of wine about half empty which we asked that they kept for us for the next day. Next day reservation they gave us to new bottles which was incredible generous of them. You will not be disappointed with the food or service.
