Service was very good. Only problem was the lengua and tripe tasted the same and did not taste good, as it didn’t taste as it’s respected meat. I had better elsewhere but besides that everything was delicious. The frid fish was surprisingly very good and I say that kindly since I didn’t order it and found out it was Tilapia! Caught me by surprise and definitely an easy recommendation.

First time here! Super good tacos, the lengua and carne were cooked so well! Their salsa verde has great taste and to me (I really enjoy spicy foods) wasn't hot at all! Their Orchata, SO GOOD. It's sweet and refreshing, not made with rice! Currently the door has a board on it for reasons unknown, but dont that deter you, staff were very friendly and we'd love to go back soon!

It's been many years since we ate at this little local favorite. So on the way home from running errands, we stopped in. We're happy we did and will definitely be back soon.

Our hostess/server Alex welcomed us and invited us to sit anywhere. There was only another couple there at the time, so we chose to sit at the bar to save Alex from making trips just for us. She recommended the guacamole appetizer and we accepted. It was amazing! A huge bowl of fresh guac with chunky avocado, bits of ripe tomato and onion came with both flour and corn tortilla chips. That was accompanied by traditional salsa and spicy salsa verde.

Our entrees were great too. My wife had grilled chicken with grilled onions, rice and refried beans. I had a burrito with shredded beef. It was loaded with meat, shredded cheese and rice. We both brought home half our meals.

Growing up in South Florida, lime wedges are basically a condiment. Here, you automatically get a little boat filled with them. There was more than enough for our guac, meals and beer. It's a small touch, but it's nice to get it without asking.

Alex was super-friendly and attentive. She told us that she's been there for 14 years. The restaurant itself has been there for decades. It says something when a place thrives and expands for so long here.

When we left, Alex asked us to please come back soon. We definitely will, and will bring the family!

This place is legitimate. We used to live in Mexico City and the flavors here recall the DF. The beef enchiladas with green sauce was outstanding, as was the beef fajitas. It’s not much from the outside, but is worth the visit.

Twenty-eight bucks is pretty reasonable; the guac is so fresh and the chips are delicious, and the lengua tacos are well seasoned.

I tried this place for the first time and I would not go back. The chips were stale. The red salsa was just crushed tomatoes that were flavorless. The green salsa tasted like tomatillos with hot sauce poured into it and it tasted chalky. The flautas were nasty. The beans tasted like burnt oil. Overall it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I left over half of my food on the plate and left.

Worst place in the world, the bill doesn't match the price, over charges, they automatically charge a 18% of gratitude.

My friend and I recently came here for the first time to dine in.

First, the menu prices do not match the final bill. What you see on the menu is cheaper than what you will be charged. Also, an automatic 18% gratuity is added to the total after tax, even for a table of just two people. This was not mentioned by our server at any point and is only noticeable if you closely review the final receipt. On top of that, the receipt still prompts guests to add an additional tip up to 30%. My server gave me the receipt to add the tip and sign and walked away. I didn't get my own copy. I had to take a photo of my receipt.

Our server offered us chips and guacamole without mentioning that it was an added charge. We were later charged over $10 for it. The chips were stale and the portion was small for two people. I was also charged $1.04 for asking for sour cream without being told it would cost extra. when we asked for water, we were brought bottled water instead of standard tap water, each bottle costing $2.07.

The tables were sticky, and one of the bathrooms was in very poor condition with a leaking toilet and broken handle.

When it came time to pay, we requested separate checks. Instead of itemizing properly, the server simply split the total bill in half, meaning my receipt included items I did not order. Both checks still had the automatic 18% gratuity added after tax.

We did not make a scene because we simply wanted to leave and enjoy the rest of our night. I later noticed multiple other reviews mentioning the same issues with menu prices not matching the bill.
