Small place with huge food quality warm atmosphere with good decorative design . Food real taste Mexican with Japanese touch

Guacamole was wonderful. Food was excellent with attention to plate presentation. Staff was attentive and friendly. Very clean prep area which is visible from bar seats. Very nice alternative to overpriced fine dining resort fare.

My first time here but I'll be back! Oaxaca is a cozy yet sleek place for a casual dinner with friends or to have a date night. I forgot our server's name but he was incredibly friendly, offered suggestions and was very attentive. I'm vegetarian and had the squash, mushroom and kale bowl. It's a lot of bang for your buck, and everything is fresh. Cocktails are fabulous too!

Food was outstanding and our server was very attentive and very nice. Will return again soon.

We made this reservation for lunch not realizing the owner/chefs were the same as our evening dinner reservation just next door. Once we ate our meal we were excited to experience more. Exquisite!! That's how I'd describe the food. YOU MUST GET the tuna stack with the wonton chips! While it's great for sharing there's so many layers of flavors that we took a pause after the first bite, staring at each other, proud of ourselves for having ordered it. It's that good!! We followed up with tacos including the chicken asada, braised short ribs, and carnitas. I had the build your own option and made a salad with the squash, kale & mushroom. The team was informative and polite. Everything was well seasoned, tasted so good and fresh!

Nice place, excellent service, food mediocre, cocktails expensive and stingy. Some might like it more than we did. We didn't see any Japanese influence—what's that about? The young waiter was very attentive and smiling. We probably wouldn't go back-there's so much to choose from these days. But we wish them well.

Complete waste of money. Two stars for the nice service. I am normally not one to complain but this was very disappointing after wanting to try for some time.
They gave me pork instead of beef and I do not eat pork at all.
Food was cold and slopped together, taco shell cold, meat cold. The chips were so stale and the guacamole was brown. Do not recommend at all.
