The breakfast buffet has a lot of food items, but they generally were not appetizing and very pricey. They automatically add the 20% tip just to provide 1 cup coffee and juice! Not worth it!

Loved the breakfast buffet! I ended up eating here with my kids every morning by of vacation because it was the best and quickest option. We all loved the food each day, and I loved the attentive staff and great selection of food. Highly recommend if staying at the Diplomat.

This place should have much higher rating. The food is flavorful and you can expect to see all the American classics. The staff is so nice and friendly. Lemon ricotta pancakes were so juicy and the steak with the protein salad was so refreshing. Thanks guys for making our stay so lovely.

Beautiful place with amazing food! We had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed everything. My husband had the Parisian Steak Frites and I had the catch of the day which was a perfect piece of salmon, cooked just enough and topped with a delicious tomato sauce. The steak was tender, juicy and cooked exactly how it was ordered, medium. Even the lemonade was outstanding! Our server, Jennifer A., was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She was truly a breath of fresh air, always willing to help without being obtrusive. We plan on breakfast in the morning and will be requesting her to be our server...highly recommend the limoncello blueberry tart for dessert, though the tiramisu was incredible, as well.
Phenomenal fresh food, incredible service, and beautiful space. Harry is a joy to be around. My boyfriend and I enjoyed his zen demeanor and had wonderful conversation with him as well. Having been in the hospitality industry for the last decade, it's a joy to be wowed by service. Breakfast croissant is delicious & the fruit plate is scrumptious and beautiful. 5 stars!! If you're staying at the hotel I guess it's worth it. But $34 for a buffet of omelette, bacon, sausage, waffles, etc is a bit steep. Still the service was very good. Lovely place, nice food, next to the beach. The warning should have been the Lamborghini and the Bentley parked out front. If it was an out of this world experience then maybe worth the $90+ bill for two people for eggs would have been worth it. Would I go back? Nah.

We stayed at the resort for five days and have visited dozens of places across the US over the past ten years. This was our worst experience with a waitress, Florencia. The restaurant implements a mandatory 20% tip for lunch, which might have influenced her behavior. After we declined the $10 Evian bottled water in favor of tap water, she began treating us poorly. We waited 40 minutes for our food in a nearly empty restaurant. Additionally, her behavior turned racist when she inquired about our nationality.

Not worth the High $$$$$ food was not high quality or taste. Some items were undercooked, while others were over done. In all fairness the desert station was elaborate and even could almost qualify as gourmet, pretty decent! The Service people were very nice:))
