“Stopped by this Mexican-style food truck and it did not disappoint. The al pastor burrito and tacos were hands down the best items on the menu juicy, perfectly seasoned meat with great flavor in every bite. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and fast service made it even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to. A must try if you’re in homestead.“

“My friend and I decided to try this Colombian restaurant. The place was empty when we arrived, so we were seated right away and our order was taken quickly. We didn’t wait that long because our food came out fast. They had great music playing and the atmosphere was lively, although the music was pretty loud. If you’re sensitive to loud environments, this might not be the best spot for you. The food was delicious. I ordered a hamburger, an empanada, and an arepa with cheese, and everything tasted great. I’d definitely come back to try more items on the menu.“

“even though there was so much sauce on the burger that made it break apart, it was still delicious. i had my share of messy burgers, so i didn't mind this one. only 2 flaws, though. 1.. the bread may have been a bit old since it was dry and easily crumbled without sauce in it.. and 2. took a long time to receive my order.

Parking: it is in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.“

Real Macitas at cutler bay on is 2 and SW 184/186 US1 at the Publix plaza is Back yes ! So happy 😋

Update as of march 28, 2025:

Macitas always went to Cutler Bay their original was a family owned and operated awesome traditional Colombian restaurant and baker!
Until about a year ago sold. Now it's definitely NOT Colombian although they still advertise themselves as so! Food is ok some type latam .
The actual locale it's fine. I can't recommend anything anymore I was client for almost 20 years loved them mainly in take out and fine in.... So sad miss the original Macitas ... was one if the only housemade feel Colombian
