Food was delicious! We had the Loriane and Miami crepes, Nutella croissant and cappuccinos. Strong coffee was just what we needed after a sleepless night with a newborn! Just one gentleman working and he provided amazing service even as the restaurant got quite busy.

The Bistro is deceiving from the outside. It wasn't charming, until we walked inside. We tried it because we wanted to try something new on our way out of town. The owner was selling art on the walls throughout the cafe, it appeared to support local as well. The owner bakes specials daily. We tried a mushroom quiche, the flavor was perfect, portions plentiful. Also ordered a blueberry muffin with fresh smoothies. The muffin had perfect flavor and the smoothies were perfect with fresh ingredients. Tables set up for customers to enjoy their meal. The owner served us and took the time to make a recommendation, as well as explain his menu. It was the perfect local experience. A must try.

My Husband and I visit Islamorada every year and look forward to going to Bitton for our breakfast daily. The food is AMAZING! My Husband, who grew up in food service, is always amazed at how delicious the crepes are, and I personally highly recommended the Katie. We love this place and cannot wait to return next year.

The worst breakfast ever
Agree with other reviewers, automatic 20% gratuity even for a party of two. $66 for two quiches, 2 coffees and 1 croissant. No itemized bill.

Owner scammed me $8, as well as everyone else in my party. When I asked why my total was significantly more than the menu price, he said because he gave me whipped cream with my crepe. I never asked for whipped cream, I was never offered whipped cream, nor did the menu have an option for whipped cream. I also ordered a water, to which he brought a bottle of water. Water was not an option on the menu, therefore there was no price associated with it. I ordered water to not spend money on a drink, like anyone would do at any other restaurant. I was very disappointed when my total was $8 more than the menu price, before the 20% required gratuity. This gratuity was disclosed in the menu though. Food was good, the scamming was not. Menu price was $14, I ended up spending $26.

The place is nice, but the restrooms are dirty, and there's no tap water. They charge 4 euros for a small bottled water, excluding tax. They added a tip without asking, and we were also charged for cream cheese on a sandwich that we neither ordered nor ate. There are much better options nearby.

The food was incredible , great coffee !
the place is adorable, But if you are not going to provide with ? table service , from taking the order from the table , to removing menues , and either add a water to the empty glasses on table or removed them … then you CAN NOT ADD 20% tip on the bill …. You sir were serving from the counter .. and we have to stand up even to pay you ….… just saying !!!!! Thank you !!

Where do I begin with this place!!! We go there occasionally forgetting how rude the owner is. Giving Moroccans a bad name and the French too! He charges whatever he chooses since prices are not published and then gives himself 20% just because! He is rude to children and adults alike which is sad. Our 3 year old granddaughter walked in so happy, she chose a purple chair because kids know “colors” not size of table. He rudely said loudly, you can’t sit there go to another 4 person table because that one is a six person table, he didn’t even bother to ask us how many we were, we were actually 4! So he argued with me, and so we walked out. We’ve been there several times for croissants. They are pretty decent outside of France. Never again! Don’t go there he’s very rude. The place is usually empty. No wonder!
