Ziggie & Mad Dog's is a steakhouse known for its good overall quality of food and a cozy, upscale atmosphere. While the porterhouse steak was a bit overcooked, the filet mignonette with bernaise sauce and the Shrimp Islamorada entree were outstanding. The sweet potato mash and asparagus sides were also delicious, and the homemade bread with honey whipped butter was scrumptious. The service is impeccable, with well-mannered staff like Bill, who provided A-plus service. Although the seating can be a bit cramped, the restaurant features white table linens and offers great steaks and cocktails. Reservations are highly recommended as the place fills up quickly. It is a fantastic choice for a special night out in the Keys, and many customers would return often for the excellent meal and service experience.
