My husband and I visited Artessence for the first time today and LOVED IT!!! We ordered a mocha, lavender latte, quesadilla and avocado toast and dead serious it’s some of the best coffee and food that we’ve had. Also the vibe is super cool and the owners were really friendly and helpful!! Highly recommend :)

Stopped by Artessence Coffee Shop and had the best morning. I ordered the breakfast tacos — great price, good portion, and just really satisfying. I also got an iced matcha and they suggested adding lavender… so good. Such a simple upgrade but it made it extra special.
The vibe in there is just as good. There was a little crochet circle of ladies chatting away, and strangers casually striking up conversations over coffee. It just feels welcoming and easy. Definitely one of those spots you want to hang out in for a while.

The cordial nature of the owners with the subtle upscale nature of the venue, with the charm of the puzzles available for customers, this cafe is a relaxing opportunity for passerbys. The coffee is well curated and masterfully crafted, and the food menu while limited right now excels in quality. A worthy entry to the growing Springfield community.

The spot is soo cute! I tried their fresh guacamole, and hot tea. A previous time I had tried their mocha latte: all were delicious! Would certainly recommend, especially given how cute the atmosphere is and how friendly the owners are :)

This place was recently purchased and renovated. The new layout looks clean, but it has no soul. It’s a night-and-day difference from the previous build. The look is modern, but so is every third café you walk into.
They’re going to sell local art, which is great, but so do Southern Grounds and other cafés. One thing the previous owners did well was creating a sense of connection with the café and giving people space to make their own art. I’m glad a coffee shop is still here, but there’s nothing special about it anymore. It feels like a generic café. Hopefully they improve, and the coffee and menu get better over time.
