Little base gem! The staff is wonderful, and the food was spectacular. All around great experience! Just keep in mind the restaurant is part of the golf course so parking can be hard but there’s miscellaneous areas to park around base if there’s none at the front
Many places put too much salt in their biscuts & gravy. Not this place. Many places skimp on the gravy with their biscuts & gravy. Not this place, it's like they give you a big bowl of gravy with biscuts added. It's great. Their biscuts & gravy is second only to my mothers.
We are always greeted as family! Food is fresh. ONLY complaint is unnecessary plastic waste...especially for a beach town! We asked for NO straws but got 2. I asked for salad dressing on salad and NOT in a plastic side dish but was told impossible. I read US throws away 500,000,000 straws every day. Ridiculous..but more and more restaurants only give straws IF customers ask. At a JAX beach restaurant I saw no straws. I asked why. They said they give if asked but customers apparently...
