Lovely coffee lounge in riverside. The food & coffee were delicious ?, service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Great place to dine in, read a book, work on a paper or novel, wifi friendly so you can bring your laptop. There are various pastry options to choose from, breakfast sandwiches (which are packaged cold, but you can request the batista to warm it for you), overnight oats, yogurt parfaits, etc. We ordered a hot caramel latte, bacon egg and cheese muffin, lemon cream fan & a Duval Sunset (tea & orange juice mix). All tasted great! Would def recommend this spot to just sit and enjoy the little moments ?.

ordered a dirty chai with almond milk and it tasted sour and burnt. went back, explained the situation and asked to switch to a lavender matcha with oat milk. They made me a matcha with cows milk. it also just tasted like milk with food coloring. chocolate croissant was good though but they’re from another bakery anyway.

I've been going here since they opened. The prices have gone up since the pandemic while the service continues to get worse. There's only one guy who is always friendly and welcoming and one who is always rude and acts like a jerk, so it's a gamble every time of how easy or difficult it's going to be for me just to get a simple cup of coffee here. It would be cool to see some of the new baristas more than once or twice before they're gone.Parking: It's a main road with plenty of parking all around and easy walkable access

This was my second time shopping at this establishment, the quintessential new era coffee house with a groovy music ambiance.This time we ordered the pastries along with our spectacularly prepared Caramel Macchiatos. I had the Mango “whatchamacallit” and my hubby had the Lemon “Thingy”. They were delicious, definitely worth calling devilishly delectable damn near dessert pairing with your coffee.Happy Fluffy Customer on

The only positive thing about Bold Bean is the atmosphere. The food is never made to order, coffee and tea are sub par, and the staff ignores you and plays on their phones.Parking: The road is always super busy and no one follows the speed limit. To add they don’t watch for pedestrians. So be careful if you do try this place.

We moved to the US a couple of months ago and are struggling to find a good coffee shop. We've tried a dozen of "specialty" places so far from Miami to Jacksonville and it feels like they have no idea how to brew coffee correctly. And then we tried this place and got a perfectly made cappuccino. Unfortunately when we came back the next day we got the same boiling-hot burnt and sour mess as everywhere else. So shout-out to a person who was on shift on Feb 10th - you are a gem, thank you.
We are really hooked on this coffee. I have been going here pretty regularly for the last year, mostly to buy beans to go. The couple times I had coffee in the shop, the experience was enjoyable. The baristas are friendly, and it's a quiet place to work. Parking is usually available, but it does get busy on the weekends. The dark roast is our go to. We really are obsessed. I believe the beans are between $15-$20/bag. You can tell it's roasted fresh and each of the varietals have their own flavors. I highly recommend this local coffee shop!

If you are looking for a great local coffee shop with a hipster/chill vibe - definitely stop into Bold Bean. I stopped in to grab an iced matcha latte and catch up on some work. I did park on the side street at no cost. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday mid morning however I was able to find a table to sit at. I got a chance to watch the barista make my matcha and I was pretty impressed. Some places I have been to have it pre-made however, she literally took her time to whisk the matcha powder with hot water. It was pretty good as it was paired with almond milk. This was not sweet at all which I enjoyed unlike a lot of commercialized coffee shops. Working here was a great vibe and atmosphere. Everyone was so productive and it just made a perfect afternoon to get tasks completed. They do have free wifi and extended outlets for charging purposes. Whenever I'm in Jax, I will definitely come back to this coffee shop for not only a pick me up but a productive afternoon.
