We love to come here often! The food is great, the servers/bartenders are always kind and welcoming. We always recommend this place. I love how they do activities like bingo or trivia during the week. The only issue we keep coming across is the attitude and poor service from the owner. The owner is also a cook to my understanding. We typically go in and sit at the bar, order a couple of drinks, and maybe some food. If we bring extra people with us, we usually sit at the tables....
Food and service were great! My husband got the chop steak with green beans and I got the chicken without basil with green beans and seasonal veggies. Atmosphere was perfect for conversation. They do have pool tables and darts too. We will definitely be back!
We ordered dinner to bring home with us from Brew and Barrel last week. I got the Tavern Burger with sweet potato fries and my husband got a steak and cheese with regular fries.
I will lead with this: the sweet potato fries are easily the most delicious sweet potato fries I've ever had. Ever. Whatever magical cinnamon sugar goodness that is lightly dusted on them creates perfection. I will dream about eating these daily once I leave the Jax area. My husbands...
