Recent Reviews

We always get take out so I can't speak to the inside but the food is as expected. We have been to several other locations in Jax where that was not our experience (Main St, University Blvd, Atlantic). Dunn Ave was always good but they closed and sometimes you're just in the mood for that Captain D's fish so we're glad we found this location. Pleasant folks in the window with prompt service.

Went here for lunch today and I must say they step it up a notch must Be a new cook ??‍? in the kitchen the food was cooked perfect and the wait time wasn’t long I enjoyed the meal. ???? NOW THIS IS THE OLD CAPTAIN D’s I remember!!!!!

The manager that was working on Sunday at 6pm was great. They were really busy,but he went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that the workers felt praised. He definitely deserves a raise.
