Nastiest dining I've eaten at. The tops of chairs we black with crud and booths were nasty, especially the back of one by the drink machines. A customer had a dog at their booth that was eating off of the floor, as the customer would drop the food on the floor to feed the dog. Nasty, nasty, nasty!!!

The WORST location in Jacksonville. They had my mom, sisters with a baby wait for AN HOUR!! to get our food. Ordered around 7:45 ALREADY PAID...told to move up to the door and they would bring the food out to us. After that we started employees leaving even the one that took our order. She claimed they were dropping fresh fish, waiting for this and that. Then another customer came after.. ordered, she waited for 20min and got her food and SHE'S THE ONE THAT TOLD US THEY WERE CLOSING! 100% Unprofessional and will NEVER got to that establishment again. So basically the employees would've had us out their hanging had the customer not tell us what was going on. Hush puppies still had batter on them, they rushed. Smh

I'm updating my review because I am quite frankly sick of long waits in the drive through! I sat for over 15 minutes tonight and ended up leaving without my food. It is totally unacceptable for this kind of wait with no one reaching out. In addition, no outside lights and you can't reach the store by phone. I'm done!

The last two times I went, I left because they took too long to even take my order. Tonight, I gave them a time trial. I placed my order at 7:51pm for Only a 2 piece fish and fries. I made it to the window at 8:14. I got my food at 8:22. 31 minutes for fish and fries only. The food is fine, but it sure as hell isn’t “fast” food.

When I pulled up to drive thru a woman took my order right away & told me to pull to the window for my total. There was another car at the window & I waited at least 10 minutes or more behind that car before getting to the window. There was only one person working the front counter & drive thru. She had to keep telling the cook she was waiting for my shrimp as I ordered a shrimp & fish dinner. She was getting frustrated because the cook wasn’t listening to her. She was very nice & professional but you could tell she was irritated. While I was waiting at the window to get my order, there were 5 cars behind me in the drive thru line, now. As she kept telling him she needed 6 shrimp for my order & she was repeating the next couple of orders to him. I don’t know if the cook is new or just slow! But the woman at the drive thru window was trying to make sure I got my order correct but I could hear she was having issues with the cook. Also, I ordered a baked potato & it wasn’t cooked, like not just under cooked but I could not eat it. I have no complaint about the woman at the drive thru but overall, it took way too long to get my food. I had been craving fish & shrimp & tried to get this meal at the Captain D’s on Edgewood Ave yesterday 8/17/25, but they had a sign in their drive thru they were only taking cash, their card reader was down. So I waited until today & went to Normandy location, to have this experience. Captain D’s needs to do better.

Paid 20 dollars for cold fries after I requested if I could get them fresh. Fish was fried extra hard. Very displeased!. And i had to wait 15 minutes. Never again. The cashier was pleasant.
This was the worst food we have ever gotten, from anywhere......ever! It went straight to the garbage. We ordered an ultimate seafood platter, a side of chicken strips and a 2pc fish dinner. The crab was so burnt it was brown and hard and couldn't get the fork through it. They were out of lobster bites for the dinner. I have never had worse chicken strips anywhere ever! They were burnt and tasted that way and like rotten fish! We waited in the parking lot for 10 minutes after going through the drive through and being told to pull up and when I did they said they forgot my order and had to show my receipt so they could then start to get the order ready. The manager was trying their best but the staff at this location just didn't care at all! We would have gone back and gotten our money back but we live 30 minutes away from this location. We will NEVER eat here again and frankly I may call Department of Health on this location it was that bad! DON'T EAT HERE!

Careful they act like they wanna kill you if u ask a question. Idk why they keep hiring ppl with a bad attitude . Takes them 5min to addresss you in drive thru . They also.dont wear name tags cause well you know they don't act right and are scared to get a bad review
