Drive-thru order taker was an older lady who was rude. My sister asked me to stop at this one near her place in Mandarin. I asked if we could do separate orders & she said yes, mentioning she would have to put us as seat 1 & 2 of the same car.
So when she asked if we were ready to order I said seat one will have, then she cut me off. Abrubtly saying I don't need seat 1, I just need a name. So I gave her a name & my order not realizing they were still in breakfast for a few more minutes. She cut me off again & said we are in breakfast, but you can still order lunch you will just have to wait. I asked for how long & she wouldn't answer the question directly, I think she said till breakfast is over. Repeating if I want lunch I can order but you'll have to wait. I asked how long till breakfast was over, then she didn't answer. My sister spoke up & said they should have a breakfast menu for you to look at. She heard this. I had to ask for it, she didn't offer it. We were at a drive thru spot where there was no menu screen. She gave one & within less than a minute I gave it back & told my sister just to order what she wanted. I decided not to get anything. All this took place quickly within a few short minutes. My sister said I don't like that she's being rude, we can go inside. Then she changed her tone slightly & said it's no problem if you want lunch you'll just have to wait for however long.
We ended up driving away & parking so my sister could go in. At that point I didn't want anything thing from there. My sister insisted on my order went in & order all her stuff & mine from a person at the counter who happened to be the manager. She mentioned how I was treated & he comped all our 4 meals, even though she said she will pay for her 3. He comped all anyway & added cookies, said he'd talk to the lady.
So since he tried to make it right I gave 3 stars. He also mentioned lunch was starting in 7 minutes & it was not a big deal to order lunch since they were already preparing for it. The whole order took less time to prepare than it took for that employee to be rude.

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL POST
Clayton. This is the guy you want in your store. I posted my review before I left the store HOWEVER as I was leaving, your manager, assistant manager (?) paused me on the sidewalk outside. He offered chocolate chip cookies and a sincere apology about my experience. THIS! THIS, people is how you do it. Now, while I refused the offer initially, he insisted to the point I took them. THAT! THAT, people is how he got to stage 2 in good business relationships...he started a conversation...a conversation that lasted almost 20 minutes. Let me tell you, Clayton is longer term. He will run his own one day, so treat him well while he is in your employ.
I leave stars at 3 because it was a 3. He made it better, but my star reward is to him and not so much Chick-fil-A. I think after COVID the plan has been to weed out inside customers. Good plan except motorcycles and mothers with small children get pushed out. So, while that's business, please know there are those that actually care enough to leave a honest and fair review....for free.
My ORIGINAL complaint:
Why am I the only one standing at the register? Where's the empoyee that takes walk in orders? I see at least 6 employees all scurrying around for what I assume is the drive thru orders or maybe door dash. As a motorcycle rider I'm limited with options for drive thru places. I've seen in the news your numbers that customers at chic fil la are waiting longer and longer these days. Now add $50 w/tax for a family of 4 sit down...or drive thru...Lots of choices out there....lots of other choices.

The food is always delicious. Chick-fil-A keeps their restaurants & bathrooms very clean. All employees’ are very friendly and helpful. This includes the ones that are out in the heat taking orders in the drive thru.

Food and food service were great. The cleanliness of the establishment wasn’t as great. Play area was messy with sticky floor and spills throughout. No one comes around to wipe tables, floors windows.

was in a pinch trying to place a large next-day breakfast order for a work meeting. While attempting to order through the app, I realized it wouldn’t let me place a regular breakfast order unless it was under catering. I called the store and had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Susie, who was incredibly helpful and patient.
She walked me through the process and listened as I fumbled my way through coming up with enough food to accommodate our group. Thanks to her and the entire team, everything was perfectly prepared and ready on time the next morning. They even helped carry everything out to my car, which was a huge help.
Top-notch customer service from start to finish—thank you to Susie and the entire team for making a stressful situation seamless!
