Chili's in Jacksonville

“I have recently seen a bunch of bad reviews here. I have been here about 5 times in the last 18 months with no issues, and I'm surprised I haven't left a review. Now, I won't say it's my fault... I blame Happy Hour and El Nino Margaritas for my lack of reviews.
I have never have an issue here that wasn't quickly resolved and my only complaint ever would be at 4pm on Saturday the bathroom floor could probably use a fresh mopping but literally this comment belongs to 90% of restaurants in the same category as this one.....
So today, I went to check things out. I was greeted quickly with a smile. I sat in a booth, and my server Terri arrived faster than I would have expected. I ordered 8 wings and 2 margaritas. The wings came in a normal amount of time, and I know this bc I wasn't even able to finish my drink before they arrived.
The wings were really good, much better than my last time at the ale house. Honestly, at home, I grill my wings and for fried wings... I'll come back for them bc they were perfect. Now, I should note that I ordered them naked and with sauce on the side. I have noticed over 20+ years of eating wings
.. they come out better this way for me....
Anyhow, continuing along... my wife and I ordered some sandwiches, and they were amazing, and the fries were perfect.... Two more drinks as I slowly eat and life is good. I have no complaints about anything, and my wife was happy, so that is the big win here.

“The service here is almost always great! Only a couple of times I had to wait longer than what seemed necessary for a table or drinks and food.

The 3 for me is a great deal on a budget and the chips and salsa are great to share with the group!“

“The service is hit and miss which can be a little frustrating. Especially if you’re prone to being hangry but once the food comes you’re alright 😌. Other than that it’s a fabulous Chilis in terms of atmosphere and food. It makes me happy to see something from back in the day still do well. There’s always a crowd at dinner time and the food is still bussin.“

“I’m very particular when I order my cajun pasta and they get it right every time! Darlene was a GEM. You could tell she was very busy (full section) but she made sure she touched every table and got us in and out (we were in a time crunch to see a movie) with no problems. We’ll always ask for Darlene every time we go now.“

“I brought my family out to chilis tonight, because my autistic son loves (pepper) Reggie and his team was so amazing. Reggie treated my little man like a king!!! Watching the interaction between Reggie and my son really melted my heart. This momma has been so worried about if her son was ever going to be treated normal and Reggie did soooo amazing. We will be coming back quite often. Thank you guys for such amazing food, service, and just 10/10 hospitality <3“
