We love Culhane's Irish Pub ~ it's always a special event no matter the date or game on one of the giant TV's. Combine authentic Irish dishes and cocktails with the fun vibe and ambience ~ and you'll always enjoy your visit. Don't miss starting with the Sausage Rolls. If you're a Reuben sandwich fan, it's fabulous. Ask about 'specials of the day' ~ and include a hot Irish Coffee. You'll relax and make friends at the bar, too. Three cheers for Culhane's Irish Pub Southside and off Atlantic.
This was New Years Eve, so the place was very energetic. Enjoyed the band, Murphy and the Mallards. The service was excellent and the food was good and the drinks were cold!
We’re really sad to be writing this, because we genuinely love your place. The food, the atmosphere, and the TVs make it one of our favorite spots to grab a beer and watch a game.
Unfortunately, we’ve had repeated uncomfortable experiences with one bartender. After an earlier incident, we spoke with a manager who handled everything wonderfully—she was receptive, professional, apologetic, and clearly understood our concerns. At that point, it truly felt like the issue had been resolved.
Sadly, the behavior has returned. When this bartender is working, she sees us walk in, glares at us, and then has someone else serve us instead.
It creates an uncomfortable situation that makes us feel unwelcome, and it’s reached the point where we no longer feel comfortable coming in.
We’re always polite and respectful, and all we want is to enjoy a simple beer and a game in a place we really care about. We would truly appreciate this being addressed, because we would love to continue coming back.

I dont know what happened but this is definitely not a triple restaurant anymore. Stay away
I went to my Company's Holiday party at Culhane's Southside location and Trish and her team made us feel like we were family and the service was amazing... even with a large group! I enjoyed the Guinness Pot Pie and if I could give it more than 5 Stars I would!!! This was my first time to Culhane's but it definitely will not be my last. Thank you for making our party memorable and happy New Year!

I had the beef stew, it could have used a little more seasoning but the meat and vegetables were very tender.

Awesome pub sports bar with great tasting food. She could not stop praising the Reuban sandwich, said it was finger licking good. The atmosphere was that of a old fashioned pub with plenty of tvs to watch all your favorite sports.

Great people & Atmosphere but our meals were just average fish batter mushy, chips not quite done. My fish pie had a terrible off fish smell. Im used to mash potatoe topping but this had a slightly greasy cheese top. OK but not great.
But Holy heck the staff are fab! So kind to everyone! They were playing bingo & charity games....the banter was just like back in Ireland! Sweet spirit!
We will go back just for that alone! Drinks were great too! But the 'Car bomb drink' was in bad taste. We lost a loved one in Omagh bombing so perhaps the IRA naming was a bit crude & disrespectful to all the victims & our sweet little cousin!
Thx

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had the absolute pleasure of partnering with Culhane’s Irish Pub, with two locations in Jacksonville (Southside and the Beaches), for a school fundraiser, and the experience from start to finish was incredible. We had our event at the Southside location and it was PERFECT!
We worked closely with Maggie, Marketing, Fundraiser, and Social Events Ambassador, who was an absolute joy to collaborate with. Thank you! 🙏 From the very beginning, Maggie was informative, responsive, and intentional — making sure we were fully prepped and supported well before the day of the event. Her professionalism and care truly set the tone for the entire experience.
On the night of the event, the Culhane’s team delivered in every way. They graciously accommodated our large group while seamlessly continuing to serve other events and regular guests, which speaks volumes about their organization and hospitality.
A special shout-out to the incredible team who served us like family — Emmanuella, Gabriela, and Spencer. Thank you for your warmth, attentiveness, and exceptional service.
If you’re a school, nonprofit, or organization looking to host a fundraiser or community night, Culhane’s is an outstanding choice. It’s the perfect blend of great food, great company, and a team that genuinely wants to support your cause.
A word of advice — BOOK NOW, because this is truly a go-to spot in Jacksonville.
We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality, service, and overall wonderful experience. Thank you to Maggie and the entire Culhane’s team for helping make our night such a success. 🍀

A real gem! This place is so cozy inside. They have a great selection of good tap beer and truly excellent Bloody Marys—a must-try! Highly recommend the delicious bangers and mash. Perfect spot for a relaxing evening with great drinks and satisfying food.
