Culhane's Irish Pub & Restaurant

As Brits we were excited to try their Fish and Chips and were disappointed when it came out with the fish still raw. They remade it for us but the experience would not make me want to return. Our server was top-notch though and deserves a shout out.

Always a good time with great food. The manager, Trish was very kind when stopped by our table.

It is a little noisy on trivia night Tuesdays when we go we have a waiter (jordan), who is just simply outstanding 

Went there for a birthday celebration. Jamie was an outstanding server. The food was so so. I had the fish, and it seemed undercooked and rubbery. The appetizer platter was very good, and the sauce Jamie recommended was delicious.

Jamie was an excellent server, the food was on point. One of the best meals I've had in six months and I can't wait to come back.

Normally great food, service, and drinks. Do not recommend the late night happy hour. Came in before 1 after a long night wanting to get drinks and an appetizer, and appetizers were on sale for the late night happy hour. We waited for our order to be taken, and by the time the bartender got to us, it was 1:01- and they said that because the deal ended at 1 we were not able to get food at all. Wasn’t the bartenders fault but really disappointed overall. Don’t know if we’ll be coming back anytime soon.

I am Linda Shilby and Diamond Dave’s wife and partner. We are honored to have started our very popular open mic at CULHANES Southside.
We have frequented CULHANES at the Beach since 2010, the fabulous Ruby Beach used to play there on Saturday nights. It was then we discovered the amazing Irish recipes that are mouthwatering! There are so many great dishes, all of the Irish dishes you would expect and then some, all with the. Culhane twist! There are also many fabulous offerings of American dishes, always with that little extra. Extra special drinks and beers, not to mention 5 Sisters Vodka they produce. This is a very special restaurant as they have recipes you will not find anywhere else. The daily specials and happy hour are worth coming in for!
The CULHANES sisters are amazing to work with. CULHANES Southside is a classy richly decorated venue with an incredible staff! Our open mic patrons are having a ball ! We play in the bar area and to the bar crowd and it is nice background for dining, not overbearing in the area. We want to Thank the Culhanes Sisters for the opportunity. We will enjoy this partnership for a very long time, if they will have us💜💫🎶🥳

We sat at the bar which the bartenders are amazing. And we had the brunch menu. And its sooo good!! They make a mean bloody Mary too

There was a group of 10 and the restaurant was very accommodating to place us in the back up on the stage to afford some privacy. Service was outstanding, Spencer did a great job! Food was very good, every order was correct and served at the same time.Good value for the cost. I had the shepherds pie and it was quite tasty.

For more than 15 years we have had birthday dinners for multiple family members here, as this truly is the best restaurant I have ever been to, Irish meals aside. The atmosphere and the people we have known working there are just as Amazing as the food.. Last night, however, we were not allowed to have our outside birthday cake inside ,even though we also ordered their desserts as well. We were told health code, which is not correct. We have brought in a cake every single time. But this male manager said nope, no way. So very sad as Culhane’s always reminds us as a restaurant where you are more than a dollar sign. Just so disappointing. Had to cut the cake in the back of our car in the parking lot to give to everyone to take home. Still I would strongly recommend Culhanes for some of the best meals you can find

While they could use a few more healthy options including Gluten Free, everyone was satisfied with their meals and many portions were aplit due to the generaous sizing. Great place for large groups especialy after a movie next door. Dont have to park twice.

The service (from Spencer) was top notch, the food was delicious although the cheesy sauce on the shrimp and grits was overpowering. Stick to the Irish standards. Our only issue was the noise level from open mic night precluded any decent conversation. We picked the wrong night to meet old friends at Culhanes. We talked better in the parking lot.

We have enjoyed brunch many times at this location. This time, while we still enjoyed it, there were several misses. The baby cakes included with all the dishes were severely overcooked and could not be finished. The potatoes included with the corned beef hash lacked flavor overall. Still a decent brunch, just some quality control needed.
