A "Diamond In The Rough"..we expected an average lunch meal, quaint atmosphere, casual but real comfy! The young ladies were not only pretty, but congenial, and flexible as to the menu. Not only was the food excellent, but my nachos with beef and chicken could have fed 2 adults! I'm sure we'll be back!

Worst Mofongo I've ever had. Even horchata tasted off. Was in area and searched for mofongo and this place came up. It's a Mexican restaurant, not Puerto rican/ Dominican. But staff was nice.

5 Stars for the food! Hidden gem for lunch. Let me clarify for anyone reading this review: THIS IS NOT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT! We have overlooked this place from many of the reviews because people were comparing this to Mexican food. This a great little Dominican spot with authentic cuisine. My Spanish is limited but my husband took care of everything with ease (although I could have managed). Food took a little bit but they made everything fresh, so I will not complain about it taking a bit for the food to arrive. He ordered the fried chicken which came out hot with a crispy non-breaded skin, rice and beans, tortillas and salad. He thoroughly approved! I had the asada sopes and they were also delicious. I ordered 2, but 1 would have been plenty. I am sure this place has a healthy nightlife, but was just right for lunch. Will be back to try breakfast menu soon. If you like Dominican food, do not pass this by!
