I have eaten at Enza's many times but not for the past few years.
Ate there tonight and was very disappointed! I ordered Chicken Caprese- chicken, mozzarella, and lemon sauce. The chicken cutlets were very dry (one I could not cut) , the lemon sauce had little to no lemon. The cheese was fine.
Great fine dining with true atmosphere. It would be nice if people dressed better for such a restaurant but what can you do? The menu and portions were generous and the service was terrific. The only constructive criticism I would offer is to improve the quality of the fried mozzarella
We first ate at Enza's toward the end of the COVID pandemic, having come up from Gainesville with friends for an event, and the food was just spectacular. Fried calamari is a benchmark dish for me; as it goes, so goes my meal, generally speaking. The calamari was crispy, but tender! And, predictably, the rest of the meal was equally good.
