I absolutely love European Street! They make some of the best beer cheese soup that comes w breadsticks, or try the half chicken salad with a cup of soup. Their Reubens and cookies are also amazing. Friendly and attentive staff, and the outdoor seating is cozy.

I’ve been visiting European Street for as long as I can remember, and it's been a delight to watch this spot maintain its charm and delicious offerings over the years.Even though I had to hang up my hat on their legendary beer cheese soup (served in a bread bowl) after becoming a vegetarian, I can't help but recommend it for anyone who isn’t!My go-to is the Tempeh Reuben (on rye), and I swear, it never disappoints. Plus, inexpensive, large beers and amazing BOGO happy hour! The outdoor (dog-friendly!) patio has become our preferred spot on nice days—with plenty of seating that we’ve never had to worry about getting a spot.E Street ticks all the boxes and it’s definitely a Jacksonville staple.

Our server was attentive and kept our drinks full even though it was a very busy Saturday afternoon. I hadn't strayed from one or more menu items but the Rueben Deluxe was delicious. It's a great restaurant for families and near a park. A cool place to try things that you might not at most places here in the states or to find something familiar if you're from overseas. I love this place and reccomend it to anyone in the area visiting or if you're trying to impress friends or family.Parking: On a busy day it can be difficult parking so you may need to be prepared for a walk.

Usually good food, very extensive menu. Very busy location. We tend to order to go often and it is about 95% correct. Tons of amazing retail items as well, sodas, beers, desserts, candy, and other unique products.Parking: Not many spots, street side is shared w retail stores.

A solid sandwich spot. We love European Street Cafe! My go-to is the shrimp croissant sandwich. It's delicious. They use whole shrimp, rather than chop it up, which I appreciate. The shrimp are tossed in a delicious mayonnaise and celery mix. I also like the pastrami Reuben. It's good - not great - but worth getting if you want a hot sandwich. Don't recommend the sausages. They sound like German sausage in the menu, but they're just hot dogs. I don't know about you, but going out to eat a hot dog with a fork and knife doesn't appeal to me. The Cole slaw is also too wet for my taste. Staff are great. They enjoy working here and are friendly. Interior and exterior are both really enjoyable to sit in. And they have an awesome shop in the back with great beer selections and amazing looking cakes. You should check it out!

I was walking my usual route this afternoon and decided to stop in for lunch. ESC has a Happy Hour 2-8 on Mondays, also a 2 for 1 draft deal. For Lunch I got the Cuban sandwich on whole wheat bread that came with chips and a pickle. A cup of tomato bisque soup as an appetizer. For a draft of beer I got the sun king then the Ancient City Galleons Golden Ale which paired perfectly with my sandwich. There was seats at the bar, outside and at tables. They eliminated a hostesses amd let guests sit wherever they want. This was a nice touch. This was my first time to this location. Its a different setup from the San Marco location. I walked out the door purchasing Stegal Radler pack of beer which is a low ABV grapefruit beer.
