It was our first time and we were extremely surprised by this great hidden gem. Nice, intimate atmosphere, good service, great sushi. They also now offer a new warm bowls that have burners build in the tables to enjoy. We will be going back to this next week. There are a lot of sushi options around town but this is a place to experience!Parking: There is a large parking lot on the side of the building.
This is my go-to place to order sushi. Way better than other local options. Great portions, always fresh, always good ingredients. I really enjoy this place and it’s been consistently good.

I am usually very picky about my sushi and I’m so glad to say that Sumo did not disappoint. I had a to-go order and I walked in to it being freshly made. The rolls are an amazing size which makes me feel like I’m truly getting my money’s worth! I’ll add that their shrimp sauce is amazing and actually adds flavor versus some other kinds that taste like mayonnaise and water sushi down. 10/10 best sushi in riverside.
