Atmosphere is not the problem, being out of peppers for a cheese steak not having fountain beverages, yawning and acting like they hate there job. These are problems I can’t overlook, 1 star at best

I recently ordered a steak and cheese sub with all the toppings, including lettuce, tomatoes, and more, only to receive a plain steak and cheese sandwich. The lack of attention to detail and customer service is incredibly frustrating, particularly when I, as a flight crew member, am looking forward to a meal after a long day of travel.

Place was not overly busy, five people working (two standing around, I saw another walk in the back), inexplicable 20+ minute wait, sandwiches heated when we didn't ask for it, kids wouldn't eat them, gave up because we had to board.Edit: Firehouse Subs rep requests below that I take my time to give them more information - with a link that doesn't even work! Looks like the problems are top-to-bottom over there.

Save your money. I have never seen a more incompetent group of people, not to mention hot sandwiches being served ice cold.I get that it’s airport food but this is a Jacksonville franchise.

What a disaster. Two people in front of me (3 sandwiches) and it took me (2 sandwiches) over 30 min to get my subs. At times there were up to 4 people behind the counter; one manager dozing off in front of a computer in back. Think about that for a second. Four or five employees took 30 min to make 5 sandwiches. At an airport no less, with crazy prices and people with no time.

It's just took 40 minutes to stand in line, order and get 2 breakfast sandwiches. With only 4 orders ahead of me and 4-5 people working behind the line. I use the word "working" quite loosely. Mostly just standing around. Apparently multitasking is not a thing here. I almost had to leave without my food because my flight was about to board. Unacceptable.

There were about 5 or 6 employees when I arrived. Took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me and take an order. About 15 minutes later I had not received my food and there was no one waiting ahead of me. I asked how long and at this point there was 1 girl working who just came on shift (Amari I think was her name, very polite). She said she saw the ticket but assumed one of the employees who was working when I ordered had made it. She made it for me while serving 5 more customers who walked up and let everyone know she was working alone and please be patient. 2 of the employees who just got off including the one who took my order were walking around the food court and grabbing food from the line, cutting in front of people. Horrendous customer service aside from the young girl who helped me in the end.

This place is disorganised, not clean ( I censored myself from using much stronger language), workers not having a clue what was ordered.Vegetarian options: They have an option but they have no idea how to serve that option

Really good subs. Nice cashier. Just outside TSA. Good prices. It took a bit of a while to start making the order, but it was definitely worth the wait time.

This place makes Sbarro's look appetizing. Order taker yawned open mouthed while taking my order. My steak and cheese was ice cold. People going back and getting their orders fixed, only to make a face at the second attempt and give up. And no napkins!Not a lot of choices in JAX, buy do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Wow! I ordered a Turkey Bacon Ranch on white (order No. 9565 for any managers reading this) and was told the wait would be ten minutes. I agreed and waited 15 minutes till my sandwich was ready. There wasn’t any orders behind me….The lady yelled out “Order 50,” multiple times while looking at me. I finally asked her if she meant “65” and she smiled and said, “Oh yeah, sorry!”. Had to run onto my plane since it was then boarding. Opened the sub to find some sort of veggie on wheat (didn’t even have ranch). Checked my receipt just to make sure I ordered the right sandwich. Not sure how the hell they managed to make that big of a mistake. Ate half of it so I didn’t starve on my five hour flight. Ruined dinner. I can see why this place has such a horrible rating.
