I go to five guys a lot. I justify their overpriced aluminum wrapped burgers because they do taste great lol. So I just tried to place an order over the phone just to have them put me on hold while they cuss on and on about another employee and how whoever is not phone can “f’n wait” etc. I still place my order after hearing all of this lol. Just asked them not to let the guy that they were talking about make my burger lol. Then I pull up and walk in to see all the employees in the back and nobody cooking my burger. SMH. Clearly these specific employees could care less about my business, so I will save them the trouble ✌️.

So years ago, I went to a Five Guys in Portland, it was awesome. So I thought I'd try one here in Jax and take my wife out to lunch. The place was clean and the staff friendly, but the food was not so great. Our burgers instantly fell apart upon trying to cut or pickup and became a big mess. The lettuce was unnoticeable and wilted. The fries were Ok and plentiful. We spent over $40 for two burgers, two drinks, and one order of fries. I think it's back to Wendy's whenever we want a burger. My suggestion to management is to serve the burgers in a type of foil or paper sleeve to help avoid the mess, and use fresher vegetables that have not wilted.Parking: The area is a large strip mall complex.

Today I ordered online like I usually do before work. My fries weren’t cooked because a girl was cleaning out the fryer which I totally understand I’ve been an assistant manager at restaurants before. I told the guy I had to be at work at 9 so just refund me the fries and I’ll take the burger. The girl there was so rude to him about it and had a nasty attitude. I don’t care if she got an attitude with me but how she did that poor guy was unnecessary and I felt bad for him. I didn’t get a refund bc she wanted to cook my fries anyway like she run me and im her child ? I left without the fries bc I was going to be late to work hopefully tomorrow I can get them since be I paid already.

Too expensive, I got a burger fry and a drink for myself it was $21.26. That’s insane I’ve never been here and wanted to try it. Definitely won’t be back that’s a lot for a cheeseburger fry and a drink. Then they didn’t make the burger the way I ordered. Didn’t get the onions had to go ask for it. Then the onions looked old and smelled I just left them off my burger. As much as you’re charging you should be cutting fresh produce daily ain’t no way those onions were cut fresh and look like and smell like that without being a few days old. Shoulda got longhorns steakhouse $9.99 for burger and fry there.

Amazing fries and delicious juicy burgers. They have the coke machine with all the different sodas. The location is good too. The only issue is the price. It has gone up in price a lot over the years so be prepared to spend over 20$ on a burger and fries. With that being said it is definitely worth it.
