The food was all super flavorful and tasted very fresh. We had the Autumn Rolls, Veggie Samosas, and Ginger Mushroom Noodles with Tofu. The date chutney that came with the Samosas was insanely good. Service was quick and friendly too!
We are traveling and found this delicious place. The food is fresh and flavorful! Highly recommended.

Food has good flavors. I’ve been going here for many years. Unfortunately I do believe it’s gotten a bit too expensive.
Updating from todays visit- unfortunately my chicken did not taste fresh but the overall curry sauce was good..

i got the kanpai noodles and they were INSANELY peppered, like way too much. i could even eat it bc of the intense pepper taste. the vegan popcorn chicken is really good.
I went with a friend and got the Lion City Lili with an add-on of cod. The food there tasted so flavorful and the portion sizes are amazing! You must try this place AT LEAST once if you live in the area, otherwise you're just missing out.
(Note: In the photo I took a few bites already, it comes with a lot more cod, like about 5 pieces)

I really hate that I’m giving this place 2 stars for the food. This was my favorite place 4 years ago. Tried nearly every dish here and wasn’t one I didn’t like. However, this impromptu visit I got the Japanese Curry and it was so unbelievably concentrated it was downright salty. It was almost as if the chef/cooks reduced the sauce too much whilst heating it in the pan. I told the person working the counter and they stated that the dish “has been really popular all day today” and then offered a different sauce to put OVER the dish I already had. I explained to them that this would only make the dish completely inedible. I was going to get something different as we had just paid $67 for a couple of appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 sodas but instead was going to be charged. I would’ve even settled for a remake. It was just really not the hour for the Japanese curry. I ended up eating the tofu and the rice since it wasn’t drenched in the curry and I wasn’t going to pay $20 more which would have meant spending $87 in hopes of the next dish being edible. Super disappointed in the experience.
Editing to add a comment to the owners response- I’ve been working in the service industry many years and I’m in in the mindset that “the customer is always right”, however, there are certain battles not worth fighting as a restaurant owner. As I stated, I used to
Come here all the time a few years ago and have tried nearly everything on the menu with the exception of some new items and never have I ever had the Japanese curry as bad as it was this visit. The 3 employees working and tasting the curry and stating “it was fine” is irrelevant as I’m the paying customer. I was offered a different sauce to put over what I already had, which again, weird. I was not offered a remake so I asked if I could order something different, which would’ve been the buddhas korma, which I would’ve been charged for so I said Nevermind. I ate the rice and the tofu that wasn’t drenched in the sauce. Maybe the cook reduced the sauce down too much leaving it far more concentrated than he had anticipated. Either way, it was pretty crappy service for a trip we drove out of our way for. I appreciate the refund, however I really just wanted to eat some good curry as this place brought us much joy in the past. Anyway, thanks again.

LOVED their version of what I know as a fresh roll. Fun and VERY favorable. On a kamikaze trip to Jacksonville to pick up a surprise birthday gift for my beau. Wish this place was in Asheville. Definitely try it out if you live here or just passing through. I suspect you won't be disappointed. Tasty treat fo sho.

The food is delicious and the service has always been friendly. Sometimes the wait for food seems long, but the atmosphere good. Generous portions too.

I've never had a meal here that was less than outstanding. Nearly everything on the menu can be made vegan with either tofu or their vegan popcorn chicken (both delicious, the tofu is soft with a light crispy breading, the popcorn "chicken" is crunchy). If you're feeling indulgent, get the butter chicken over fries. Not a healthy meal, but I promise you'll be licking the bowl. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-27
Multiple vegan protein options. Jackfruit nuggets satisfy the fried food/nugget craving. Highlight was the lime curry with tofu. Delicious! Kanpai noodles were very good too with some spice.
The wait times are

I've eating here several times, the atmosphere is OK. Alot of idol worshipping on the walls in the decor the food is good for the most part not extraordinarily or under par just averagely good. But if you order the curry I'll let you know the curry comes on top of the rice in a cardboard container so ask for your curry in the side or you'll just end up with a version of curry fried rice with way more rice than curry.
Enjoy!

Food is made from scratch and everything I had I liked. Their (vegan) popcorn chicken is much like the binge food it's sized similar to. With the three people that I went with only one didn't like it, and the rest of us didn't allow most of it to last before our main courses came. The curry I had with the popcorn chicken as protein, however I believe that went against the experience as I had the same (pretty good) taste from both the appetizer and curry, leaving me slightly bored. The curry itself was alright, however having chosen a non-refillable prepackaged drink with a 2/5 spice curry, I couldn't finish it there and took about a third of it home. I am truly sorry for not being cultured. One review on here mentioned it being overly salted, however I didn't feel that way at all about mine. Although my salt intake may be more than theirs. Beverage choice is a little limited for in house drinks. Most of the choices for them on their menu are put into a vague group and you have to ask the server what they have available. Which is unfriendly to people who are terrified of talking to strangers. The most egregious example being "everything else", which I still don't know exactly what they mean by that. Their interior is nice overall and has plenty of decorations that my spice tolerance reflects my knowledge of, but it seems asiany to me I think maybe. Celebration of color flag located inside. Even though they don't have desserts on the menu currently, they let us bring in our own and the server was nice enough to put what we brought in THEIR fridge, and remembered to take it out soon before we were leaving.
