It honestly depends on when you go. I've never had what I'd call friendly service there but it was always efficient enough. If it's not during a peak time, it'll be fine. If it is - for me it has been a trial in patience and just an understanding that something won't make it to the table. Drinks will not be refilled. You'll ask for wasabi, a lemon wedge, ginger or something else and it'll never come. If you can accept that, then go. If not -...
Be prepared for a wait if you plan on going during the weekend. Place is small but the food is good. AYCE sushi. The service is just ok as they can be a bit aggressive due to being busy with the tempo of the restaurant.
I went alone and sat at the sushi bar for the all you can eat sushi special ($15.99 M-Sa 11-330). The place was busy but the staff was quick and efficient in getting me seated as well as the food arriving quickly. The sushi bar in particular is very fast. My only wish is for there to be more raw sushi roll options that are gluten and dairy free.
