Made a reservation here for my birthday and whole heartedly regretted it. Service was awful, the wait was long for everything despite it not being crowded and food was just ok. Nothing I will ever crave. My birthday was never acknowledged despite being on the reservation and someone at the table mentioning it again to the server. Horrible experience for a special occasion. Don’t recommend choosing this establishment to celebrate anything.
Management needs to improve their customer service along with the servers.

The service was great atmosphere was nice. The food was ok it could have been because my reservation was your and half before closing. The steak was dry and tough. They just gave me more steak sauce. And said it was cooked the way i asked. So I paid and left. Lovely place food not so great

I came here on my anniversary. I casually mentioned how this was an amazing anniversary dinner and the server took itnupon herself to do a tiramisu dessert to celebrate.
The pasta and dessert were phenominal. The memory made that night was top notch

Disappointed in the quality of the food and cocktails. Branzino ($40) was dry, fennel undercooked, cous cous tasted like cardboard. Very underwhelming! Special cocktail Georgia Sunset, was served with too much bitters and undrinkable, they brought another with less of their homemade bitters, I drank it, but not a tasty cocktail. On a positive note, out server was great. Save your money, I do not recommend.

I am all about supporting the service industry so automatically adding 20% to a party of 6 bill seems very reasonable…if your waitress puts any effort into it. Food was good but not close to the best Italian food we have had. A dinner for 6 lasted 3 hours. Not because we made it so but because we waited 20 minutes for the first drink order. Waited another 30 minutes to flag down our waitress for an appetizer order…and another drink order. Apps were placed on the table by someone else with no commentary or asking if we needed anything and quickly walked away. We waited 15 more minutes for pepper and to order another appetizer because our waitress didn’t bother to mention how small it was for a group of 6.Then, another 40-45 minutes before she came around our table to let us order dinner and more drinks. Then waited again for dinner to arrive. For this price, I certainly expected better attention to detail. If it were not for our group (the enjoyment of being together) this evening would have been a total disappointment. Hence the 5 stars for atmosphere even though it wasn’t the total atmosphere of Josephine’s. Service NEEDS to be better.

Decided to give this place a shot after tons of reviews and recommendations for my wife’s 30’th Birthday dinner. Wow is all I can say, from the drinks to the service to the food it was TOP NOTCH! Spicy Rigatoni and Cacio E Pepe best two pasta dishes in Jacksonville! Highly Recommend, you have gained two new regulars.
We had an overall okay dining experience, but there are a few things I thought would be worth writing a review on. To start, our server failed to introduce herself to us, and proceeded the whole dinner to be passive aggressive to us about some questions we had about the menu (questions we naturally had as we had never dined here before). When asked to explain a specific wine that was unfamiliar to my friend, she said nothing educational, just emphasized that it wasn’t a “new concept”. Another member of our party asked if the restaurant served spaghetti with red sauce because of some dietary restrictions, and was almost belittled for the question as the server explained how the restaurant is too authentic for that, and told us how she had been to Italy personally and that that isn’t something that is done there. We are fans of authenticity, but we also just wanted our whole party to be able to enjoy the dining experience. Also, the food was lukewarm at best. I will say the ambience was pleasant and food did taste delicious. Just wished the server was a bit more welcoming.
